Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

@Midakolol
Spoiler: Nothing changes. New SPAA is still superior ranging to IR AGM carriers.
The tracking range doesn’t change cause that’ll still be 14km.
The only time it will change is if it’s changed to 1.5km with LOAL added.

It was either nerf the TML losing its thermals [and potentially other things], or fix the issues with the CV90105 they intended to add and save the TML for later.
I support what they did because I would demand a refund if I lost thermals on something I purchased explicitly for that.

Also do you really want to lose your CV90105 premium just to get a worse version?

The thing is that the new AA definitely needed to be added, maybe these 3 AA don’t need to be added as powerful as they seem to be, but they are still needed.

We will also have to see how they implement the AH-64E. Britain has always had a slightly better Apache than the US until now. If the -179A are SAL the AH-64E could be only a minor improvement over the AH-64D.

It would have lost both the thermals and stab iirc
Basically making it a worse AMX-10RC

Teaser today?

Modern naval combat with missiles would be extremely unfun unless everyone has them and the countermeasures/interceptors you’d need to stay alive.

Unless Gaijin makes a standalone mode to test things out properly, you’re better off playing Sea Power

Watch them do just that because of the new SAMs they’ve been adding.

Tomorrow

Is the AGM-179 the baseline version or is it the JAGM-MR?

And are the APKWS rockets coming to other US jets (I have to assume it’s the F-16C and F-15E with their counter drone APKWS) any different from the others currently in-game?

Eh it’s likely to happen, annoyingly so since it feeds into the endless loop of powercreep, and imbalanced powercreep at that, because after LMUR it’ll be SPIKE NLOS and Brimstone which are infinitely more annoying to deal with for the enemy

u can fly this thing at tree level or even through/under trees.

Stabilizer was what I was alluding at yes.
I just couldn’t remember if that was one of the things incorrect with the CV90 TML or not.
I knew thermals were.

And I purchased the premium for the stabilizer and the thermals, not the name or the look of the vehicle.
In the end I got a different name and a cooler looking vehicle because of the errors they made in researching TML.

I think you should at least consider the presence of advanced LDIRCM on the 64E, better engines, and the possibility of the JAGM being a JAGM-MR with IR/SAL/maybe MMW seeker and increased 16km range

And as for UK Apache thing, they can’t get the LDIRCM

thing is they are all ARH so we will have to see how gaijin handles that if multipathing still works they would be pretty easy to defeat

Are you dreaming or something? This is the first time I asked.

I’m not complaining about the Sky Sabre, nor am I saying that it is problematic.
I was referring to the Hornets and the Ram taking up space in the tree that could be filled by other vehicles. We already have the example of an British operated Sabre jet not being added because the rank already has too many planes according to Gaijin.

Figuring out Gaijin’s nonsense == justifying Gaijin’s nonsense

He’s mentioning the general sentiment to beg for devblogs/teasers at times when they simply won’t come, teaser is typically on a thursday (tomorrow) so just wait until then

ummm … thats wot I meant?
my comment was in reply to the “more copy-paste” comment
