I mean, the laser designation range in game is only 20km or so iirc, so you wouldn’t be firing them from past that with any precision anyway. The big thing though is by being able to step back from the action the Heli gets more time to react to a incoming SAM. Can always fly closer if you need a quicker kill.
I’ll be frank. I’m 90% sure your playstyle leans into the arty vehicles, because we’ve had two very different experiences with them.
Stuff like the M109 I’ve found takes a lot of skill to play. Not a single one of the arty vehicles I’ve played can I pick up and win; if anything, spading them has been taking twice as long as the vehicles you consider high still. (I am talking about a single example and need doing all the ones added)

the other side to that is that the brimstone will be going at a pedestrian’s pace by the time it gets there which makes even gunning it down a reliable choice. like yeah cool i cant kill you now but you cant kill me either and i will prevent you from getting any kills with it

I mean my playstyle mostly leans towards medium tanks/fast heavies/MBTs. I don’t know why but my M109A1 performs insane without having to even sweat one bit (US 6.3 is my relax/calm down lineup).

IMO the worst was the update where they added the Ka50. Nothing has topped that yet

Welp, guess it’s back to having one vehicle I’m looking forward to, that we know is coming.
(The other one, still waiting on news for, but there is a possibility, can’t look forward to it either)
I was looking forward to the T58, but a $70 premium means I won’t be getting it anytime soon, if ever, sad.
I actually don’t mind the T58 being premium. People will buy it to have fun in it instead of trying to grind the whole tree with it. And they’ll have a lineup around it much faster than the low levels buying top-tier premiums. I’ll certainly be buying it, anyway.
