You can’t sit and claim otherwise when it’s gaijin themselves putting it out, idc if it’s realistic or not, that’s simply what gaijin is describing their game as
“Over 2,500 highly detailed aircraft, helicopters, ground vehicles, warships and other combat vehicles crafted carefully from historical documents and surviving sources.”
Was there ever a teaser on a monday?
You’ve only read part of the headline; try reading the entire description.
detailed vehicles
Already been quoted, and it goes against your argument anyway 🤨
“The appearance and characteristics of the vehicles in War Thunder are historically accurate, and their damage models are physically based.”
slightly further down on the same page.
No, the game has real, detailed models of vehicles. That’s all that’s been announced, not what you’re asking for.
not really the worst but the second best. the only problem is SLM is way too much beyond the others.
The IRIS-T will be countered with the SAM systems coming this patch, it’s alright
in my opinion, SAMP/T is the next coming worst thing. if they modeled it right, it will be much more powerful than SLM with great energy.
as for BUK, also great energy but possibly SARH, then it’s efficiency need to be seen.
I wonder what “model”, “to model” and “modeled” mean.
Someone help me out here. English is not my first language.
The CS/SA5 isn’t bad, its ok/ good if you know how to use it
It shouldn’t be played as a long range SAM.
it complements the HQ-17 well as an effective point defense machine
Buk will either be the gold standard of average, or ridiculously OP, depending on whether or not Gaijin deems russia having 1 patch out of the SPAA spotlight is enough
IF it is anything other than SARH, there will be an serious issue.
it will have overpowered energy level for sure. the problem is the SARH, without FNF it could be easily rid off
if ARH, then it will be as bad as SAMP/T for others, hunting you till the end of the world(of the small GRB map).
If ARH, then it is made up.
The only thing that matters is how the vehicle looks.
“prototype/progressing program”
Considering it’s a medium range SAM used in russian air defense sites, I see absolutely no reason why an ARH version has a place as a tech tree version, as I said it’s all down to gaijin and whether or not russia needs another extremely dominant SAM system again
You want a museum not a game
