Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

HE still needs to aim for certain weak spots just like any other gun, and sometimes it really feels like rng. The advantage is it’s a guaranteed kill when you hit it right. They go alright but I wouldn’t call them easy mode or op.

I mean most people would be firing their stuff in tws not hardlock so it would be 125 most of the time

There is a difference though.

A properly equipped EFT stands a chance but it obviously has a difference. Let alone the F-35s that should be added alongside those.

And we have no idea what state stealth will actually be in and what affect it will have. Also sounds like ECM is on the way too, and that could favour the EFTs quite well.

But if F3/Viggen D vs F-16/Mig-29 was considered fair, then I think F-15E vs EFT is perfectly acceptable

Barely inferior. Actually has strengths over the Typhoon like 2+7 fit over 2+6 and has double the CM count.

Again… There are ways to mitigate this fact. But if Gripen E has it, why should the EFTs also be denied it?

Just feels like gatekeeping for the sake of gatekeeping.

I give it a 50/50 chance. Them coming is pretty much dictated by when they want to release stealth fighters, and I think these planes will came within 1-2 major updates before them.

At the moment. I’ll just settle for what we need rather than what we want.

A good 10.3 IFV (ideally more wieghted around the gun not ATGMs)

A very good SPAA as we are mostly a support nation

A decent MBT or major overhaul.

Throw in some overdue CAS buffs and we’ll be fine.

would mmw munitions work in wt sized maps ? (agm114l , brimstones) grb maps are wayy to small so wont it just result in a lot of tks ? its like using fox3s but you are able to fire more than 10 of them at a time in a map where both friendly n enemy forces are within a 3-5km radius. iirc they weren’t used whenever friendly units were nearby.

ya, this is more like my experience, in them.

If you can’t aim at those points, you’re dead 9/10 times.

uhhh- are we talking about the same vehicle? The M109 I’ve been MGed to death a countless number of times, and without careful aiming, won’t do anything but a “hit”.

Those F-35A airframes aren’t finished though. Right now they just have an order placed

nah no chance. look at how early on they added the rafale. we already have an end game rafale in game.

I dont see why not. I have yet to see a single source supporting claims for any issues.

I personally think the issues with LOAL are exegerated for the purposes of denying them. But there is also a LOBL mode, that uses a combo of SALand MMW designate the target. Couple with Brimstone 2s and we’d have a harder to use AGM than most, but comprable overall.

Even just SAL Brimstone 2s would be far more fair than the Brimstone 1s we are forced to use. Typhoon never used Brimstone 1.

NATO modernized T-55 going to USSR is gonna be something interesting

Sure, but this is Gaijin we are talking about, so creating a “flavor of the month” Gripen NG with the gimbaled AESA would make them money.
Also, adding an AESA to the second best jet in the game just so it could sit in the notch and destroy anyone who attempted to attack would probably cause a riot.

Maybe, but again… the strongest nations in the game getting major buffs whilst other nations have nothing even close, has never stopped them before.

Also the ability to guide in the notch is nice, but you are still only ever defeating the seeker in the missile and not the radar itself. Without HOBS, you couldnt fire in the notch like the Rafale can.

the biggest buff would simply being able to find the thing your are pointing your radar at faster than the current 3-5 buissness days

and again, if that was the only issue, simply lock it poitning straight forward.

Has Russia captured any M-55Ss in the war? (I’m not trying to be political as a head’s up, just want to know)

i think these 3 will be some what equally balanced when they add them but they will be op compared to current fighters. su35 with hobs r77-1 would be pretty op and u can carry 12 of those.

Yeah, that was a mind-boggler for sure, they should have added an earlier PESA version.
Sure, it would have only gotten 6 missiles and no HMD, but they could have actually fixed the MICA’s range instead.

Barely though, especially the 155s. As long as you hit a spot close to the hull roof it’s usually a kill from my experience.

The M55 is going to be even more fogiving and thus even easier to aim, seeing as it’s a bigger calibre.

Idk, the M109A1 has always been smooth sailing for me. Roll up to someone, shoot them in the face, get a kill, get back into cover.

Most tanks, especially the German tanks, don’t require much aim in my experience. as long as you hit close enough to the hull roof or turret roof the tank usually says boom.

Has China been making fixed or gimbaled plate AESA?

i dont think any souces exist on chinese aesa radar , it would be fully if gaijin copy pastes N001 n makes it an aesa radar.

Ah well. I haven’t really heard anything about China making gimballed AESA for their fighters, and since both China and USA don’t really do gimballed AESA there has to be a disadvantage to gimballed, advantage to fixed, or both
