Considering how people reacted to my light mode screenshots, I thought there were like single digit numbers of light mode users

Although, especially the against LTs and the horde of SPGs, it should work pretty well IMO. I’d put it around 5.7, it’s got just enough pen to deal with almost everything but heavies frontally, the big thing would be learning where to shoot for maximum effect.

I got used to it
I was going to shame the air players for getting all stressed about upcoming patches and such. But then you realise that it’s just top-tier in general, you see the same bickering with ground and naval top-tier players. The common factor being top-tier. Hopefully more people learn that this game isn’t about just getting to top-tier and staying there.

This logic doesn’t work against me because unlike you I’m not a single nation main and I’m not overly invested enough in a tech tree to become part of a X nation suffers cult.
Unlike you I have 8 ground trees up to 12.0 and 5 air trees up to 13.7-14.3. So I want a diverse top tier where multiple airframes of multiple nations can be played at least reasonably, not some Rafale/EFT fest until 5th gen arrives.
Then again top tier already somewhat is a Rafale/EFT fest currently

To me personally it feels a lot more rewarding to take down sweats in a vehicle that takes some skill to play.
Then again, I think a lot of the games I would be considered one of the sweats that you are talking about here so maybe my view is slightly biased in that regard.

Why is Rafale and Gripen E with AESA fine. But EFT so game breakingly OP that 3 nations must be denied AESA.Something they have explicitly stated they plan to bring to every nation:
Because at the moment. It just sounds like you are denying Germany ,Italy and Britain, a radar upgrade purely out of spite.
The moment the Rafale was added with AESA, EFT with AESA was on the table (Quite frankly, we had 6 months of practically playing without a radar, we could have really done with it) . The Gripen NG/E only reinforces that fact.
its not the fault of the European nations that the US never produced a Gen 4.5 equivalent. We had to endure years of being massively outclassed by the US and USSR and any argument towards parity was shot down by simply saying “play another nation” now European nations have the advantage, its “well, there needs to be parity between nations otherwise its unfair” The Hypocrisy is astounding

You never cared about fairness or suffering. You just want your nation on top just like all the nation mains. You only bring up Italy and Germany to mask this. If Germany or Italy didn’t have the EFT you wouldn’t have given a damn about those nations.
