Like others have shown before, even if a nation has hundreds of possible variants of vehicles in its tech tree (better or worse than ones we currently have), that does not mean these should be added just because they existed.
Would you not rather research 7 different vehicles with maybe 3 variants of them in one line in the tech tree compared to ex.g.: 6 different F-16 models in a row (like the magach in the Israeli tech tree), even though they might differ slightly in play style, almost all of their weaponry is interchangeable and thus you’d be researching the same stuff over and over.
These vehicles might obviously come in the game in some way or form, but to want them now is unwarranted, when they have sister vehicles already presented in the tech tree at comparable battle ratings, especially considering how compressed rank 7 and 8 are currently in terms of capabilities.
In the case of the US we have skipped over a large amount of unique and historically significant jets, especially in ranks 5 and 6.
Obviously a large nation like the US has a lot to pick from, but wanting more at top tier right now at an already saturated top tier seems too much.

Just going to make the point that they aren’t interchangeable, especially if you only add them in their initial configurations; before they were standardized.

I could go on for other members of the Teen series, but I don’t think you’d see it as more than just bloat, sure I Think there are many Post Korea airframes that were skipped and should have be added before moving on, but it’s on Gaijin for that because other nations have fewer options things need to move forward, and so there are arbitrarily limited slots for additions.
Can’t wait for the F-22 / F-35 that won’t do much of anything at all (outside being on the weaker end of potential additions, since the shark was jumped with the Later variants of the Eurofighter / Rafale, coming so early).
