Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

This is going to be one of the best updates in a long time, right now, it might even be the best I can remember. I would’ve liked to see more naval presence in the teaser though; I barely saw the Yamato. I love the new SAMs, its just a shame the Spyder wasnt shown. I guess Israeli vehicles dont bring in enough money to be featured in a teaser.

I’d honestly forgotten what it felt like to be excited while waiting for a new patch. So many things we’ve been asking for, I’m not even sure where I’ll start grinding. I think it’ll be that Mirage III, so I can try out the Malvinas map.

By the way, now that Swiss is officially a subtree, what will happen to the Argentine vehicles in the German tech tree? Are there any plans to move them? Will Argentina become a second subtree? I mean, there are four vehicles, and only the TAM has a direct connection to Germany. The TAM 2C is an Israeli upgrade that replaces the German components with Israeli ones, and the SK-105 has no relation to Germany at all.

Manufacturers can make that claim, and in testing against a slow flying target drone or simulations it likely has a very high PK. However intercepting air targets isn’t a guaranteed thing. These systems are being used in an active warzone and are failing to intercept 100% of targets we have seen them destroyed by both ballistic missile and attack drones (Lancet). Does that mean they are bad? No of course not but it means they can be defeated.

40km sure, Patriot as an example has a range far greater than that 200km+ and you know what the expected interception range of a low flying fast aircraft actively defending is within 20km.

I wonder if the launchers for the multi-vehicle systems will be able to be replenished on cap points in one or both of these ways;

  1. Launcher vehicle moves to cap point and replenishes missiles like current SAM systems.
  2. Radar vehicle moves to cap point and replenishes launch vehicles like the current ammo box system.

one truck to a one truck to THE D POINT!

In regards to Multi vehicle SAM’s, do we know how re-arming them works?

Will they just have the ammo crate?

Do you drive the radar to a cap and just replenish a new launch vehicle?

Do you have to manually drive the launchers to a cap?

Or once they’re dry, are they just dry?

artillery is gonna have a field day

well know on dev server

SLM does have a nearly 100% hitrate though :p

Rockets at 120 km

Against missiles and drones, but still it’s an incredibly impressive system :)

Already want the Kh-31s…

There is nowhere to currently move them too (Vehicles are also not “moved”, it would always remain there for those that got them anyway) and it is not a sub tree. So nothing will change here for now.

easily intercepted

You keep defending the indefensible dude. The new one from Sweden will have a range of 20 km, the one from Japan too. The Pantsir has a range of 20 km, the same with the America jeep with AIM120. we only needs equivalents to France, Italy, Israel, and the UK and the things would be balanced. In other words, you’d all have SPAAs with a range of 20 km, ehh but Germany has one with a range of 40 km
Do you get it?

That was a quick and very clear response. Ty

Sometimes i ask me how difficult it can be to give a vehicle its correct name

somehow the copypastet the ICV statcard name to the RCV statcard and reverted partially the name change from RCV (P) to CTWV RCV

I guess ima Report that when the dev server opens tommorow and try to change aswell the Statcard name from the ICV to Type 24 Wheeled Armored Fighting Vehicle, ICV (P) since this would be more correct

isn’t it 12km?

Nah, Japan isn’t in any better position. The effective range is only increased by 2km and that it lol

Soo that how other feel against Pantsir when it first came out
deal with it.
