Still a huge imbalance at top tier. Leo2a7s and strvs are two steps above compared to tanks like the challenger 3d and m1a2sepv2 which is arguably worse than sepv1 because it’s forced to be heavier due to unremovable tusk. The lack of adding of proper counter parts like sepv3 to the leo/strvs for over a year needs to be addressed.

Decided to look into it and the total amount of vehicles between air and ground vehicles look pretty balanced (give or take, I might have made some errors). I counted 90 aircraft and 81 ground vehicles added in the last 6 updates.
However the ground vehicles could be perceived as slightly inflated because in the last couple of updates we had cases of 4x OSA, 3x Strela, 5x M44 and “new” vehicles like the DF105 in the french tree, RAM II in the British tree and Skink in the US tree.

**** all the haters, we love the effort and game you guys make and it’s truly one of a kind.
Some things get added in a broken state which is understandable from time to time
And I’m sure you have a backlog worth a few years with the constant bug reports and vehicle changes people constantly want.

Uh… me pointing out that there was a Ground Rank VIII drought in 2024 makes me a “hater”…? After the numerous positive comments, tribute posts, support in every way I’ve been able to over 11 years, time, effort and money spent… you think that makes me a “hater”…?

Not you sorry. Just in general
I just want a change in or growth of play style. That’s why I’m a big proponent of more wheeled vehicles. I primarily play US, and they have only 1 dedicated missile launcher (I believe) when they could have at least half a dozen more. Same with recoilless rifles. I’m an advocate for all nations though.

Oh, okay, my bad then, hahah. I assumed so because of the comment you replied to.
But yes, I agree. War Thunder truly is one of a kind and I really hope it remains online and supported for as long as I’m alive… it has become such an active part of my life that I can’t imagine what would be of me if it was ever discontinued, hahah.
It’s practically the only videogame I’ve played consistently on a daily basis since 2014. It has become more than “just a game” to me. I have spent more time on War Thunder than all other videogames I’ve had on the same timespan combined, and let’s not even talk about the community!
I may do another tribute post, with improved formatting, since I’ve improved my graphics design abilities a lot since the last one I made, hahah.
