Indeed. And its been covered many times why that was, ground was very clearly far ahead. That hasn’t stopped new ground vehicles from coming to the game however.
huh weird, either way it was still DoY’s task force that stopped her retreat and resulted in her sinking (its almost like it was a trap lol)

This update’s upcoming Top Tier SAM systems is something I am really looking forward to.
At last, the Ground Rank VIII drought is over, now that Air finally caught up!
And yes, I understand that air had to catch up a bit. It was weird to see 2010s MBTs going into battle with 1970s planes.
However, planes went from being behind ground to surpassing it by a large margin, at least in Ground RB, because of Ground’s insufficient tools to deal with the new air threats- a situation that is gladfully going to be corrected (at least partially) this update thanks to these new SAMs!

is there any particular reason why not everyone will receive a new top tier SPAA when multiple nations that aren’t rumoured to get SPAA this update very much have candidates that perfect match the precedent set by the SLM
If you don’t focus on top tier vehicles only, then where are my recoilless rifle jeeps and ATGM HMMWV’s?

Excuse my ignorance, but… does anyone actually, unironically want such vehicles beyond fooling around for a couple matches before growing bored of them? xD
Its not always possible for top tiers (of any kind) to all come at once across the board in every instance. A few exceptions to that, but particularly when there are technical challenges and other developmental considerations too.
A Rover with a Javelin LML would be the perfect 9.0 SPAA for Britain and finally fill that void

Speaking of this, I want to comment that I am VERY GLAD that Rank VII Battleships are being one of those exceptions you mention.
From what I can see and guess, no nation will be left behind this time, with everyone getting a roughly comparable warship to each other in capabilities. So big Gaijin W there!

its kinda insane that Germany is gonna receive a 40km sam but Italy and the UK cant receive a 25km, both of these nations are in an arguably worse spot for SPAA and it would be one SPAA that covers 2 trees, surely that was a better option then massively power creeping every other SPAA in the game for one tree
surely im not the only one that see it as kinda insane that it looks like one nation was favoured over 2 in a worse spot
I think I left them in War Thunders development building, could you let me in to find them? They should surely be in that department by now, especially since we have SEP V2 and all its counter parts.

Is CAS gunna get any buffs if 40km IRIS-T SLM are added?
Fighting them with SAL-Brimstone 1s and no GPS Stand off weapon is gunna suck
