Either way, right now the only things regarding the Typhoon I’d like done are the radar fixed so that it doesn’t randomly lose lock and the Brimstone to get LOBL FnF guidance.

Tell that to a ballistic missile. By being big the AIM-174B can most likely match or exceed the PL-17 even with a single pulse motor
Yep, agreed on those 2 points as a start.
Striker 1 needs some TLC too (and/or replace with the Striker 2) as does quite a bit of the cockpit in general.
Be nice if PIRATE had 1/10th its IRL performance
FM needs some work. Still underperforming
and then we really need BOL at least unnerfed if not fully modeled.
And if FnF Brimstones still arent an option when fighting 40km SAMs, then SAL Brimstone 2s and GPS spear-3s would be a good alternative

Nothing from MBDA to confirm it or in any semi official docs. Visually the seeker looks the same as Brimstone and with the 94 ghz seeker producing “near visual resolution” images. Whether an IIR Seeker would add much is debatable.
THe best guess is that some places have misread the “mutli-mode seeker” that is listed on the data-sheet as including IIR as many US weapons like JAGM-MR call their tri-mode seeker a “multi-mode” seeker

However, except for a slightly larger diameter than PL17, the length of SM6 is much smaller than PL17, and there will be no phenomenon of single pulse being greater than double pulse
Unless SM6 carries a booster, it can only be within range PL17
But this way, no plane can safely carry it

The IRIS-T won’t be reduced by that much, but it’ll be close.
If it’s IR, then their locking limit should be at 10KM, while FB10A has a range of 17KM
The IRIS-T SLS’s range is 12km. 10km isn’t half of that.
So IRIST will reduce by 2KM, FB10A will reduce by 7KM
Regardless, however, DL should definitely be added with them.
