Since we are getting ground launched IRIS-T and keeping in mind that it is waaayyyy to powerful for use in aircraft currently.
Can we expect to see the mini IRIS-T (LFK-NG) for the UH Tiger since its one of the more defenseless helicopters at its BR. No gun and all.

Ain’t gonna lie, that’s just a bad idea balance wise.
Z-10/19’s sitting under air spawns with TY-90’s is already problematic, but at least with a big enough countermeasure dump they can be flared. UHT with IRIS-T would just be a straight up ‘I win’ button if it did the same strat.
Granted it has no cannon, but it still has ATAS - which is the exact same AAM most other Heli’s at top tier use, so it’s not like it’s massively behind the pack in this regard.
I doubt he “fell” for them, and he was likely just trying to make some content off the lists. His content creation based on War Thunder is his only job atm iirc, so his main source of income comes from making those videos (I think he even said once he quit his job to pursue WT content creation full time, but I may be mixing him up with someone else or mistaken).
TEC is a really nice guy from my experience and has always been kind to me if I ever stopped by for his stream. Can’t say the same for MAT as I know little about him other than his content farming similar to TEC (and his discord server incident). I don’t think it’s really fair to call him an all around horrible CC just because he content spams because it’s successful for him.

Stingers are mediocre, and all you have to do is roll with a bit of pull once, and you’re safe.
It literally can not defend itself and not to mention ia lacking its HMS slaved AAM feature.
As for the other helis.
The US gets 9Ms even, and the UK gets Starstreaks, which are pretty decent.
France gets mistrals with nearly 20G pull.
Russia has idk what, but russia mostly dominates in fixed wing cas. They can get R73 for their kamovs since that was tested.
Germany doesn’t have AAMs nor cannons on any heli except UHT, and it only gets stingers. (Not counting the mi-24p)
Russia has the Iglas, which are far far better than the stinger too
I would take stingers, Starstreaks were good for killing light vics thats about it
Ehh… They have issues, and I dont know if they should be counted as an AAM in this context as they have the same SP cost as hellfires

if they model manpads accurately stinger would be better
yet they refuse because it cant more better than iglas(its only 3g better)
also iglas isnt better than stingers, its 3g worse
