Eh I think that is a bit of an oversimplification. The Russian MBTs still have a bunch of advantages over the Chinese ones, same goes the other way around.
Yes but this would make Polish nationalists happy and all the other nationalists unhappy.
I don’t know which group of nationalists I dislike the least, but that group should have their nation as the main for the tree.
It would be the case if their MBTs were fixed, yes…
Which many would say that this may be why they aren’t being fixed after all.

T-80BVM and T-90M both have considerably better gun handling, T-80BVM and the 80Us have better reload and all Russian MBTs still beat the Chinese ones in armor (and survivability for the T-90M) at 11.7-12.0.
However the ZTZ99A and WZ1001 absolutely mobility diff any russian MBT though.

Chinese tanks are actual just worse versions of russian ones imo, bigger lfp weakspot, easier turret ring shot, bigger breech.
You can actually frontally pen it with 30mm Autocannons, are they more mobile at least? idk.
At least Poland operates/operated those vehicles, so it’s not that much of a problem compared to when a nation gets them through other nation sub trees.

The gameplay element is the issue, Poland will have a bit of everything which is the argument when Britain gets a none British vehicle added.
Yeah, it’s rough, and it’s actually interesting that china hasn’t also already invested in next gen MBTs, seeing that their aviation industry is doing extremely well.
But they do have a ton of lighter gun carriers and IFV type vehicles prototypes and service.
They don’t need them though
China plans to fight any future conflict focusing on the Navy and air power.
Taiwan have a better M1 who cares when China just bomb it.

Poland would get a bit of everything that they operated. Large part of the problem is that when British players ask for a random vehicle from another nation by incoherently screeching “muh commonwealth”.
No sensible person has a problem with British mains asking for unique commonwealth vehicles.
