Yeah, Gaijin will always want CAS to be at least fairly capable, so the SLM is not expected any time soon, but as I said, it would be nice.

Yeah that’s why I said latest phoenix and 9M to be 13.3, instead of AMRAAM and 13.7. as well as the better IRST

Tbh Bombcat should have 9M at 13.0 and A should have 9L at 12.7

f14d without amraam could be hard to balance. If it doesn’t have amraam and is too high br, people complain about it being too weak. But if it then gets put lower, people complain that its too strong, because of its engines etc

This is the solution I’ve wanted all along tbh. People just think the aim54 sucks, which to be fair it is subpar at the moment. They just need to fix the aim 54 tbh. perhaps the other motor where it accelerates faster over a shorter period of time should be modeled instead or added as another option.

The aim54 on paper is pretty mid. But in an average game scenario where people don’t bother to avoid the long range shots, the phoenix can actually be usable. I have gotten 2 ace games from solely shooting 6 phoenixes at the start

For 12.7/13.0 they’re fine tbh. they work some of the time. just not against super skilled opponents.

its why im hoping for the CAMM as its a max range of 25km meaning it makes most CAS actually have to risk something (KH-38s can still be fired from 30km)
