I hope we do get it, so that they have a bit more pressure to fix it.
Two nations benefitting from fixed VT-4 might push them to fix it sooner. And some changes like the reload speed could help improve other Chinese tanks as well if they fix them at the same time.

The 2A7A1(s) have newly built hulls so probably updated internal armour. The 2A8 will also have an upgraded engine.

They have the same internal armor as any 2A7, just not the extra reinforcement on the front plate. But the 2A7 in game lack that improved internal armor
That wouldn’t make any sense on a newly built hull, C-Tech or even B-Tech haven’t been produced in decades
Thats a fair point.
it’d be alot better if they fixed the armor layout and reload speed

I don’t think we’re seeing the same pictures. All of these planes are armed (the kikka prototype only has bombs), and what you claim wasn’t built is an unfinished prototype.
