I agree with you, but judging by that Community post (+ leaks), all nations get to enjoy their best battleship ever produced in this upcoming update.
Your post is the “voice of reason” (i.e. what should have been done if they followed logic) but they seem wanting to get done with WW2 era bluewater fleet and wanting to move onto something else (submarines?).
I don’t think it will be over and they will add KGV class for Britain and North Carolina class and South Dakota class for US at some point.

The launcher has, well, electronics, rails for containers and DL masts. Control vehicle and Radar are separate. Im nearly sure it cant fire by itself.

I wonder how this would work in game… One player controls the 3 vehicles? Or 3 different players? First would be complex in controls but second would require 3 players spawning with the right vehicle and working together
And if a form of teamwork happened in warthunder the continuum space-time of the universe would probably break down
with the amount of devblogs imma guess next week but we have been surprised before so keep your hopes high but expectations low

How would Gaijin maybe implement IRIS-T SLM? The radar is on another separated vehicle, right?
Yeah, Sweden has a few in the TT right now.
Smin said that they don’t know if its relevant to add the Dutch versions to the French TT.

they are working on it. We wont know what they have in mind until they give us more details
could work in a RTS style behavior where you tell the launcher where to go by clicking on the ground. idk tho
