Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

I mean 12km max range compared to 40kms of SAMS and the 30km range of other nations AGMs I think that could be pretty fair, I mean with the UK and Italy being left out to dry with no SPAA and germany getting F/A-18s to fix their CAS issue I would be fine with that

Swiss F/a18 has no A2G munitions tho

It’s the fact that teamkills would be very common and there would be no skill required that are the problems. LOBL FnF is enough.

Real life and War Thunder are not the same.

Well tell that to Gaijin and the exact same situation with the Finnish Hornet

The F-18C can’t use A2G weapons. The Swiss Hornet can.

Considering Gaijin did say that they would consider it later(it’s not off the table), hopefully it happens sooner rather than later (and somepoint this year) if at all.

Yeah, but it would be a neat feature for SIM, just launch those bad boys and bam the convoy is gone.

mfw fnf weapons already in game

its easy let you designate a search area, if you chose somewhere where you have teammates that is your own fault

For air, yeah, that’d be fine, but not for ground.

The Finnish F-18C can use A2G ordinance wym

It’s almost like I’m not talking about LOBL FnF.

It doesn’t have the electronics necessary.

It would still be op as hell because you don’t even need to show yourself, you just let em rip and they go along by themselves.

acting like one more button click adds skill is just delusions the only some what skilled top tier CAS is SAL weapons and even then it isnt that hard

Needing to expose yourself and visually identify the target adds skill.

oh I didn’t even count the stabilized T-34-85, as I kind of already saw it as support.

If a vehicle like the VT-5 (top tier, fun to play and imo exciting) can be a suprise vehicle (appear with no prior info like leak list), I still have hope that there will be vehicles this update that are actually exciting to me.

Ok

So if LOAL for SAMs is being done does that mean Stinger K can finally get its Datalink?

again 12km range vs 40km SAM seems fair to me if you get that close its also not like they are hard to intercept they are incredibly slow
