If GRB maps were designed for anything other than Micro CQB, then maybe the BVM would have lost its edge, but its small design, great armour and great mobility still keep it very potent for the CQB brawls that we have at top tier.

CQB is the area where reload is the most important.
Luckily only 8 nations ingame outreload the BVM with every single toptier capable MBT they have
some CQB oriented maps are heavily ridgeline focussed (Mozdok and Finland as prime examples). BVM just cannot compete here.
In CQB you want to be able to react quickly to new situations. Often you need a reverse gear to do this efficiently. This is another area where the BVM falls behind.
Even in the playstyle that fits the BVM the best (small flat maps like Rhine) you do not have a reliable edge to exploit over other picks due to the many flaws your design brings.

Minus Britain (and I think its a few Isareli tanks) after a few rounds, at which point they have a slower reload rate than the T-80 BVM.
And unlike the autoloader in the BVM, if any manual loader gets killed, they have way worse fire rate unless they can get to a cap point and replace that crewmen.
(I also dont have ACE on any of my tanks, so I have the same fire rate as any BVM with ACE or slower than any other NATO tank with ACE)
They stiill have vastly superior armour to most nations. You have to aim for micro weakspots on a BVM to reliable disable them, let alone kill them. Hit most NATO tanks centre mass and they are disabled at the very least. Only the Leoaprd 2s can tank a hit

Unlike the BVM most nato tanks can survive a pen without blowing up. And if the BVM doesnt blow up (bad aim) it will have lost its autoloader. Last time I checked a 3 crew abrams/leo still autreloads a BVM without autoloader?
Every NATO tank with expert still outreloads the BVM, leopards with 0.15s and everything else with 1.2s?
Drivers port is literally centre mass of BVM and pretty big, the LFP is rather sizeable. If the BVM is at any angle greater than 10 degrees you can click its side and kill it, an angle that wont kill any nato mbt.
The BVM is arguably the easiest toptier MBT to breach due to the weak turret (outside of the ERA plates)
Most of your argumentation revolves around the strategy of “I survive a hit” while the meta in this game is killing an enemy before he shoots you? I have not taken a look at the survivability onion lately but I doubt much has changed.

CR2 at least, I go from about 6 seocnd reload to like 8 or 9 seconds without loader (I wish these were displayed somewhere for comparison)
What reloads are like outside first stage ammo, without loader, both, etc etc.
My experience is that the BVM will get into the shooting position first and thus can shoot first.
Granted, again, coming at this from a CR2 perspective, so everything is faster than me by a HUGE margin, but I still consider the BVM in the top 3 tanks at the moment.

Fighting a BVM requires careful aim, you cant just point and shoot, this adds a minor delay, a BVM just has to aim in the general direction of most top tier tanks bar say the Leopard 2 and will one shot the target or disable it badly. Everyone else has to actually aim for a weakspot.
Anyway, I cant be arsed to debate this. Point is. I see absolutely no reason to play the CR2 at the moment and so if I want to play GRB I just play 10.3 because its actually fun and balanced. So I dont really care what the Tornado Gr4 or Typhoon FGR4 are like in GRB these days, because I wont ever use them in that gamemode. But it drives me nuts that Brimstones might as well have never been added within the context of ASB and if we have 40km range death sphere SPAA being added, then making sure everyone has at least a weapon with a range greater than 10km for GRB seems like a bare minimum and even the Brimstoen 2 artificially limited to SAL only, would be of potential use in ASB

the kill enemy first before he kills me only works when its a snipe 1v1 and there isnt a second party, which at almost all the time you would get a third or fourth party involved in, surviving a hit always matter, because you can shoot back, unless you are severely crippled
