might i ask what you consider to be the top 3 tanks in grb?
Again, I dont entirely disagree, though if we have Su-30s firing KH-38MT or F-15E, Gripen C, F-16, etc etc firing GBU-39s from beyond the range of an IRIS-T SLM. Then I dont think its unreasonble to ask for the Typhoon to have something similar.
Its already artificially nerfed rather massively for "reasons " so a GPS gudied stand off weapon I think its a bare minimum ask and would be great fun for ASB
this is the craziest post today holy crap
The Typhoons are, yeah.
Leopard 2A7/122
T-80 BVM
Abrams
Some others are okay like the Leclerc.
But for me in the Challenger 2, I just dont see the point. If Im in the mood for GRB, I play 10.3 with the Challenger Mk2
lol
Great argument. Phenomenal, even.
pointless to argue with you
Even better argument. What will he say next?
BVM in top3 in 2025…
and you mentioned leclerc. Merkava is superior to leclerc luckily so we end up with at least 7 nations that are worth playing?
Nani?
did you miss the part where I asked for HMS lion? the tiger class
If GRB maps were designed for anything other than Micro CQB, then maybe the BVM would have lost its edge, but its small design, great armour and great mobility still keep it very potent for the CQB brawls that we have at top tier.
:weirdge:
2025 BVM still the villain how did he do it
cuz russian bias cuh
CQB is the area where reload is the most important.
Luckily only 8 nations ingame outreload the BVM with every single toptier capable MBT they have
some CQB oriented maps are heavily ridgeline focussed (Mozdok and Finland as prime examples). BVM just cannot compete here.
In CQB you want to be able to react quickly to new situations. Often you need a reverse gear to do this efficiently. This is another area where the BVM falls behind.
Even in the playstyle that fits the BVM the best (small flat maps like Rhine) you do not have a reliable edge to exploit over other picks due to the many flaws your design brings.
I forgot the oppressive soviet mbts always ruin my match
Minus Britain (and I think its a few Isareli tanks) after a few rounds, at which point they have a slower reload rate than the T-80 BVM.
And unlike the autoloader in the BVM, if any manual loader gets killed, they have way worse fire rate unless they can get to a cap point and replace that crewmen.
(I also dont have ACE on any of my tanks, so I have the same fire rate as any BVM with ACE or slower than any other NATO tank with ACE)
They stiill have vastly superior armour to most nations. You have to aim for micro weakspots on a BVM to reliable disable them, let alone kill them. Hit most NATO tanks centre mass and they are disabled at the very least. Only the Leoaprd 2s can tank a hit
Both vs DM53 from Leopard 2A7.
On the CR2 hit the green = 1 shot
On the BVM hit the green = 50/50 chance of doing no meaningful damage
