No, I really like the Littorios, IMO the best European from-scratch Battleship design (so that I can reserve the title of the best for Vanguard).
But the Littorio’s were very good ships (of course we must consider that they broke the Treaty). My only tweaks would be a uniform, one-piece 14" belt, and to replace the Italian 15" with either a 15"/45 from the British or a more normal velocity 16"/45.
That addresses the only 2 problems I have with the design.
Disagree, if the Germans had managed to get it back to port it wouldn’t have been risked again, like Tirpitz it would have been withdrawn.

Taking into account the sheer amount of resources spent on ending Tirpitz holiday in the fjords from the air, or all those commando’s sent on a one way trip to simply deny St Nazaire as a potential dry dock, I get the impression these ships were priority number one regardless of what happened to Hood.

How powerful were their cannons? Because if I’m not mistaken I think they were the best of the same caliber as the others, surpassing the French and German.

leak lists had F-117 listed as an event vehicle. Theres the A6E SWIP. And stuff from ASEA outside of Thailand that are off the top of my head

Nah, it’s an absolutely beautiful ship. I’d love to play it one day (as with Vanguard), but naval grind is a bit too painful for me to reach such things lol.
Insanely powerful guns with power rivalling some of the worse 16" guns which sounds bad but that’s very impressive, but I am not exaggerating when I say they were literally incapable of hitting within the same post-code at 10km. Keeping in mind most battleship engagements particularly with such powerful guns started at 25km.
The only other issue was also the autoloaders for these guns fired one shell per minute on a good day. Bismarck theoretically could fire 3 RPM at 0 elevation and 2 at normal elevation, and the UK’s 15" ships could fire 2.3-2.4 shells per minute (25-26 seconds) regardless of loading angle.
That’s why I’d swap them out for a different 15" gun that was more accurate and could fire faster.
