It won’t be. That’s much of my point. It will get the paper speed, it will get good modern rangefinders, it’s belt will not be in two pieces like is historical, and the belt will be made of the intended cemented armour and not face-hardened.
It will just be irritating to see other more competent shipbuilding nations struggle at top tier against this behemoth because they were not so stupid as to draw some lines on paper and rush into something they couldn’t finish and waste Billions of rubles.
and what of nations like italy or the UK no leaked SPAA there with italy being the only nation with no top tier SAM now and the UK having the worst version of the already worst saclos SAM at top tier
and leak lists are not 100% correct on what will come. They routinely do not get everything correct and some of the stuff that shows up in them never comes
No, I really like the Littorios, IMO the best European from-scratch Battleship design (so that I can reserve the title of the best for Vanguard).
But the Littorio’s were very good ships (of course we must consider that they broke the Treaty). My only tweaks would be a uniform, one-piece 14" belt, and to replace the Italian 15" with either a 15"/45 from the British or a more normal velocity 16"/45.
That addresses the only 2 problems I have with the design.
