I’m really trying lol. Just been scorned by this thing appearing in so many fake lists over the past couple years I’m losing faith a bit.
I’m effectively on a hiatus from WT until they add either Spyder or HVSD/ADAMs, there is literally nothing else I want or need more lol. Desperately hope beyond hope this is the update to finally deliver one. Just don’t want to set myself up for disappointment again.
Once (if) it actually gets revealed to be Spyder, save me a seat on the hype train brother.

As far as I have researched, the f14d doesn’t get aim120. Just the old aim9, aim7, aim54 load outs
He thinks that the f14a test bed is an f14d because it had the same radar. hella sus if you ask me.
F-14A+ tested amraam iirc
he also thinks two f-14d can use data link to double their effective radar range
(while being close to each other)
The SLM would be nice, however as long as the SLS is compatible, it’s more likely that’s coming.

Well, according to him the testbed was configured so that for firing missiles, it was effectively the same as an F-14D as far as electronics went

while the SLM would be interesting the max range of CAS being 20-30km and the max range of the SLM being 40km

Yeah, Gaijin will always want CAS to be at least fairly capable, so the SLM is not expected any time soon, but as I said, it would be nice.

Yeah that’s why I said latest phoenix and 9M to be 13.3, instead of AMRAAM and 13.7. as well as the better IRST
Tbh Bombcat should have 9M at 13.0 and A should have 9L at 12.7
f14d without amraam could be hard to balance. If it doesn’t have amraam and is too high br, people complain about it being too weak. But if it then gets put lower, people complain that its too strong, because of its engines etc
