Worst radar? OH GOD NATO mains haven’t suffered a single time due to radar have u. Try N001, the radar with no search field change, slower scan rates and near no chance to lock. And yet a plane with that sits at 12.7.

Give it a rest, The Radar on the Su-33 is more reliable than the Captor on the Typhoon.
I have never had to switch through 3 different modes to lock something in the Su-33 but I have with Captor.
Both are bad Radars the difference is one should be really good.

Pretty sure its already been well stated we wont see aircraft mounted IRIS-T for a good while thanks to their extreme performance compared to current air to air systems
Captor M u at least have enough options. I just have it on default PD mode half the time or HMD. I find TWS quite hideous but most people use it only. I think I used only HMS for first 500 or so games of top tier arh carriers.
And I have had to try for a second straight of spam clicking at a target within 5km that I can see and nothing is locked. Also Su33 is not what I am going at, not original N001, J11A is. Also that is data link *1.

I haven’t flown the J-11 and I dont doubt at higher BR games the Radar is a pain.
My problem is you can still use the Su-33 as the payload options are more suited for short to medium range and the Radar holds track and can put an R-27ER where I want.
I’m really talking more about Realistic mixed battles where you have no markers and have the weakest top tier Radar. That Su-30 picks you up instantly as does the Rafale.
Captor-M is so bad I switch it off and spawn in ground battles with IRST mode only so not to give off any emissions.

U know a vehicle in a tree doesnr mean its a subnation. Or do i have to remind you about canada. Spaas are especialy a special case
