Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Like I said, it’s possible but unlikely that it’s given to the US in WT, you have the GBU-53, you don’t need SPEAR 3, just let us have our own weapons

No US testing or acquisition has happened yet, I’m just saying it’s possible.

And then there is Navy F-18 tested ASRAAM and USAF F-16 also tested

If everyone else gets to have our weapons it’s only fair

@Tubby_Vermin see what i mean, one tries proposing a solution and helping out so that it at least would be possible to play once nations line up and thats what one gets

Then they start playing the victim card and mentality on top of it like i attacked them personaly

Found the original Upgradable hangar suggestion

I think its a fantastic idea, that needs to be re-submitted and get given traction

@eleks12 are you still playing War Thunder, would you mind if one of us resubmits this on your behalf / or can you ??? would be nice to get peoples opinion

  • The original post is missing images, so please use your imagination =)

it was passed to development 5 years ago, so hopefully its ready soon ™ lol

Is this something people are still interested in ?

  • Hell yeah
  • Oh hell No!

If you start using it then that is a different thing, but you can’t complain about other nations having US tech, you sold it to the world, that should be a source of pride if anything.

Also, everyone knows that’s the case going into the US tree in WT, there is no expectation of exclusivity.

there is still a chance for uniqueness in the F-18, Advanced Eagles, and guaranteed for the F-22

yeah, it should be better with some of the newer aircraft, though Sweden should get an F/A-18 and Germany may do as well, the F/A-18E is safe for now though.

You also have the AIM-120D, which they may have to give to Israel for balance, and the AIM-260, which they’ll probably do the same tbh, but if not, they’re unique to you.

There is also the AIM-54 an F-14 as a whole which only you have, the A-10, and the AGM-130, I imagine there are plenty of more things you do and will have just for you

Oh, like the hanger that shows what vehicle in your line up and what you have selected.

I’d love customizable hanger in the base game. (I know the WT live ones exist.

i mean those arent even in fulls service yet, i dont see those coming anytime soon

Honestly with the stuff we know implementation shouldnt even be done yet even if we get meteors since the aim-260 just is to new

GBU-53 wont come to other countries until the F-35 too

israel has C-8 which is export 120D, and iirc japan bought 120D so it wont be exclusive anyways. 260 probably will be though, the chinese will have PL-15 and Sweden, France, and UK will all have meteors.

tbh they couldve had the F-111 be unqiue but typical Gaijin moment there.

and ofc there are strategic bombers, but idk when or if they will come

unfortunately Abrams will not be unique as China will get one

No but they may be in service by the time we see equivalent missiles in game like the PL-15 and Meteor, and even if not, Gaijin may add them as placeholder just for balance reasons if we get that far.

theyve been tested on everything that is going to carry them for sure, supposed to be in service this year

just waiting for that SEPv3

would be pretty cool if they just didnt add it though, PLA has a bunch of domestic vehicles

i mean thats still sketchy as anything to model them

Taiwan isn’t a subtree so there’s no good reason to deny them

read an article about it and guy being interviewed said the range circle was roughly twice are large as the one for latest amraam (AIM-120D-3)

we know its not ramjet, i am fairly certain it will have an AESA seeker, and we know it has same form factor as AMRAAM

considering i want japan to get the vt-4 , i need to support china getting abrams

They can always add a placeholder until there is more concrete data on it, but tbh there is a good chance it is in service before we need it in game, we aren’t getting Meteors this year

well, i dont support either of those

Japan should get what it used and the products of its defence industry
