I don’t think so especially if they add new weapons with it. If they add theater defense sites in sim it’ll be fun plus carrier take off.

You have the US mains who can be absolute fanboys and you have the other nations mains that are mad about the US getting another top tier aircraft (supposedly to cope with the EFT/Rafale).
And the funny thing is, if you say that the Hornet will just be another mid 13.7 aircraft you piss off both sides.

F-18 won’t be bad per say, won’t be amazing in BVR though, despite the 12x AIM-120 loadout because of somewhat low thrust-to-weight ratio.

They are not going to do all of that just for 1 aircraft to not get farmed.
It’s not only for the hornet… Sim is in a bad place and it could be good to add all these things with the hornet. Stuff like dead missions and more stuff to attack is what we need in sim and I want to see it with the hornet.

Yeah, the gamemode is rather stale at the moment
Yes and no, convoys being mobile…the GBU-39s aren’t great for that. But Vs the battlefields, yep, total massacre. So no way fnf Brimstones in ASB could be even considered slightly OP at the moment

Once you deal with the SPAA with the AGM-65s, probably. AI SPAA in ASB have aimbots
Though you will have to watch your 6 because the moment you attacked anything you will be hunted by the enemy team
so fire off mavs at like 10km right? then close in for guns and bombs, then get out of there flying low?
