Its looks almost identical to other fake leak lists that you could find on reddit and such just different vehicles
I dont see it getting another nerf FM wise. It already has a problem where its at and getting another nerf wont drop them in BR. They’ll simply stay the same BR but be even worse. Plenty of vehicles are like that.
It just depends on whether they want to go for a more historical route (they likely don’t) or if they want to balance it out (they more than likely prefer this).
So yeah it probably won’t get a FM nerf unless someone comes out with good sources on it.
Gripen E will likely inherit all the problems of the C/A and be another miserable plane to fly given gaijins track record

The South African one definitely (because Derbys are just not good)
But uhhh it’s definitely out performing the F-16s at its BR (of which there is plenty) as well as the J-11A, and has a fantastic radar
I get that it’s not fast enough to climb to BVR fight but none of the 13.7s are in the face of the 14.0s they fight every single game.
As in how the Gripen specifically is struggling here, because all 13.7s feel ass to play against the 14.0s

The nice thing about the E is that it will get a much better engine and way more missiles. That effectively fixes the issues that the A/C had minus Gaijin’s poor FM modeling.
It is quite funny to me that the F-16D Barak II got moved down to 13.3 but the SAAF Gripen-C didn’t. That’s kinda wild imo.
it’s more funny that the J-11A didn’t get moved down when that is easily the worst 13.7 in the game

- Radar? Half the DL channels
- Engines? Weaker
- Empty weight? Much higher
- RWR? Still the SPO-15 analog radar
- Missiles? Missing the centerline dual rack config (-2x R-77s)

Except we dont know that it wont be gimped just like the C and A are. The same amount of overperforming is due to gaijin own engine with Delta wings. They cant fix that without nerfing all deltas. So again new engine wont help it if its aoa is still artificially limited. I can pull harder and get my nose on in a F15 E before a gripen can because they can turn more thsn me.
dont forget it has 2 less R77s too

Guess the players are doing to well (sarcasm it should be 13.3 or 13.0)
Why? Darter are better than aim 120 within 18km which given how you have to play the gripen makes Darter a better missile for its mobility.
13.3 would definitely be fine - that’s where the lesser 4th gens with Fox-3s tend to reside (29SMT, JF-17, Su-34, Barak II)
the Barak II was moved down because it struggles with Derbies, which are identical to Darters
and the SAAF Gripen-C gets 2 less Fox-3s

Again Gripens tend to play to mid alt engagements where you hunt the players heading into the middle of the map. Average range of 20-14km Darter/Derby perform better than aim 120 because they can turn and intercept better at high speed. Again the best Gripen C isnt one with 120 because the meta shifted. Alt climbing is not something a gripen can do because its the slowest 13.7
All gripens have 4 Fox 3, they have the least amount of missiles at top tier.
Again it’s just funny to me that the Barak II got moved down while having more of the same missiles than the SAAF Gripen-C. I’d prefer it if both were still 13.7 and we decompressed instead, but Gaijin will be Gaijin.
