AIM-2000 late? AFAIK there’s only one AAM IRIS-T version currently, with a block 2 being under development.
Any plans to look at adding the Gripen C’s 5th pylon for A2G munitions? Its been over a year since it was passed yet stuff like the rafale gets 2 additional missile pylons in a week? It would be nice to see that added since we could see it on the Gripens displays
The point of the post was to find out what the situation is, people say the CV 90 is Swedish then I here people say they are built by BAe and when I ask about it people don’t read what was said and just start being mean or dumb
Would any of those really play that different compared to their current in-game variants tho?
I mean, fair, the ASLAV-25 is not a SPAA, but the other ones are just the same as the in-game variants but with bigger guns
Well, assuming that SPAAs are mostly out of question, except for hybrid capable vehicles that can be designated light tanks. I would also say the ZBD04 with HJ10 ATGM, but that seems even less likely.
odd i dont see nay updates for the failed anti cheat system when are we going to get an update about that part of the game or just the reporting system?
Maybe you should’ve looked into the history of the CV90’s? Hägglunds was bought by BAE but CV90’s are exclusively made by the swedish branch and development is done by them specifically. Outside of business ties they have no tie to britain as again its not a british segment that makes the CV90’s. You would’ve saved yourself some explaining if you had bothered to look it up. Instead you essentially went about it in the eorst way possible by saying the UK owns the CV90s and the people making them. Its pretty fair why people reacted the way they did.
I don’t see why the AFT-10 would be unlikely. What would speak against it?
Before I forget, once again would like to thank the CMs, @Smin1080p_WT @magazine2 (and others that may be involved), in these kind of CM posts that give us an inner look at what’s to come
yes … still no Hummel, T-43, M7 Medium, Su-101, Valiant, Bishop, etc etc etc …
Mostly about the fact that it exclusively uses MITL TV guidance, much like the Spike NLOS
Could just limit it to pure IR guidance
Wait, I just looked it up, the AFT-10 uses wire guidance for the missiles
no way, they’ll make that abomination a simple event
But not to Israel, as that was Marconi/RO owned hull.
Sorry, but it might AIM-2000 (digital version)
Already datalink and LOAL (Lock On After Launch)capability
MICA IR (NG), Python 5 and AIM-9X-2 equivalent. my guess
So you just mean the digital vs analog Interface? The missile itself remains the same, the difference is in the launching aircraft
Considering they passed the suggestion of BMD-2m in December, I believe it will be added as next bmd. It’s reasonable cuz Russia lacks light vehicle after tier 10.0.
Well this is most likely the Ship and not much of a clue. A “quick” google Search results for me in 19 light cruisers or larger ships which could very well be that. But the most likely should be the French BB Straßbourg. Or the fourth and Final Bayern, as we have two Kongos as Event-Ships aswell.
The issue is that modern arms manufacture is much more interlinked and multinational that it ever really has been in the past, the manufacturers of the CV90 are a Swedish subsidiary of a US subsidiary of a UK defense company. If you wanted to you could make the connection to all 3 countries.
The best way to handle the CV90 is to say that when it was first manufactured it was by a purely Swedish company, and all subsequent variants are just that. So, unless there is a service CV 90 with a connection to another nation, it’s just Swedish, like the Swiss 9030 could be added to Germany potentially, other than that they should stay Swedish really
