Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Considering the original leak list i think its very likely. Again things are subject to change. I mean again its entirely likely gaijin doesn’t add Finnish F-18C since it will likely only be 13.7 and thus in gaijins eyes not really warrant an addition currently. I mean we’ve had multiple TT gaps that could’ve been filled with many options yet the air tree has been ignored so no reason to assume this update will fix that.

you do realise that like, Australian Hornets maybe just maybe had the US Navy involved in the integration of that British IR missile (that had US seeker anyways, which is arguably the most important part) called the ASRAAM?

Which only further pushes the idea that UK will get Canadian Hornets and the US would get an event Aussie Hornet to have a new missile type.

Woww one aircraft doesn’t mean all US aircraft will go to the US and by that the US doesn’t need yet another top tier aircraft event

And this kinda helps too

if the seeker is all that matters then you should be perfectly happy not having the rest, the seeker is in the AIM-9, the rest is British, so you don’t need it right?

It comes down to the snail if if the Aussie Hornet could make more money as an event vehicle than its pretty likely they might do that

most important part does not equal “all that matters”

i know, but for this it makes sense for Australian F/A-18A as US event, and CF-18 as skin/premium

Im just going by snail money logic, IRIAF is pretty good for that. Besides Canada and Australia aren’t confirmed subtrees, its likely UK will get one or the other, Both seems far fetched but not surprising coming from the community’s most gluttonous nation

(Not my words but it is kinda funny)

I’d argue that having a Hornet in the British and US trees and a premium one for the US would make them the most money

Ok stop talking now

Eh, all depends on what the snails flavor of the month is

stop twisting words, i said British IR missile that had a US seeker. just a little point to add onto US involvement in that aspect of the Australian hornet

Or maybe US gets 1 hornet and stops complaining because other nations get stuff they exported, seriously its getting old at this point

i dont mind sweden getting one, they have the actual subtree to justify it.

but the UK does not

I’m just saying, if the seeker is the only claim to the missile, then the fact that the exact same one is in the AIM-9X should matter

everything that separates the ASRAAM from the 9X is British

Eh i mean the first comment on the suggestion for the Finnish Hornet is literally about it should be a US only vehicle like squadron or prem

what the devil have I come back to…
