I can construct a full lineup of AA from rank 5-8, each of them being some of, if not the best AA vehicles at their BR (Pantsir, 2S6, Strela, Igla Shilka, Osa)

- It doesn’t say canceled. And “provisions for” means planned fleetwide integration. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t capable. As we know they were very capable of using the Aim-120. Also, you’ll have to come up with something better than Wikipedia to claim that because they chose the LANTIRN pod over the Aim-120, that suddenly means it’s incompatible.
- It’s an F-14A with an F-14D radar, so effectively, it’s an F-14D. On radar it shows up as an F-14D, for the Aim-120, it’s being launched from the F-14D’s radar, and the Rio is using the AN/APG-71 to fire the missile, not the AWG-9. No valid structural differences would matter between launching from an A model or a D model tomcat. I don’t understand how this is so difficult to understand.

idk why they felt the need to absolutely nuke the performance of all NATO SAM missiles (including the '2S6m1’s missile here too since that got nerfed into the floor), and then add the pantsir, I doubt i can find a single player that isn’t biased towards russia who has an issue with removing the pantsir and replacing it with a Tor M1/2 and re-buffing of the VT-1 and MIM-146

The only things that are worse are the otomatic and the Japanese aa but even that is debatable given the the fire and forget missiles are better at Short Range
Also pretty sure these missiles have the best irccm system in-game
Basically add the irccm from the r73 on top of a aim9m and you would still have a worse missile

Yea, the nerf was so hard it got even moved down in BR because even an straight flying Drone was realy hard to kill, luckly they buffed the missile again to nearly as before without moving it again up in BR

I would put it on the Tor, but it is in china, so i am unable to have it as of now :(
if that was the case then it would be better than the ADATS but it’s not there yet
