Being a subtree doesn’t necessarily mean that all vehicles of that nation is going to be added. Pakistani F-16 could be added since it can use their domestic ARH missiles. That makes it kind of unique.

My understanding is the Block 1 to 3 ASRAAM uses the same seeker as the 9X. Which the US has put a block on. Which is why MBDA ASRAAM block 4 has a new seeker which uses no components/technology from the USA and can be exported freely.

I wonder if its because they plan to implement Spain at some point, which would find VRCC on the regular tree, since otherwise the removal of VRCC makes no sense at all…

They got rid of it because it either sold badly or because they wanted that FOMO money. Same goes for most other removed packs.
Keep in mind they also removed the FFA P-16 pack for example.

Well, I can see where they are coming from hahah.
If every year updates come between Date (X) and Date (Y), I get why people would talk about delays when we are getting close to Date (X) without a dev blog, teaser or leak at all this year.
Yeah, I know the whole “updates can’t be late because they aren’t officially scheduled beforehand” technicality, but… you know what I mean, hahah.
“Coming late” in the sense that it’s taking longer than usual =/= coming late regarding an official schedule

The updates move around each year. Every update every year has the potential to be on a new date, as it’s simply planned in based on what that update has in it.
The releases are not restricted as some believe so that they must fall between X and Y date. Just a general period / quarter of the year.

Oh, but don’t get me wrong, this is fine by me!
I believe that deadlines and strict update schedules are a horrible thing in gaming. They lead to the forceful and premature release of products before they are ready, which leads to issues.
So I’m fine with updates just coming out when they are ready instead.
Updates already come with half a trillion bugs and issues already, last thing we need is for them to come with even more because they had to abide by strict date deadlines hahah

There is nothing to prove. We do not restrict releases to a spesific date / time period and updates are not 1:1 each year to the exact same dates. The only exception being the last possible time to deploy a major update before the holiday period when it’s no longer possible to deploy larger updates on consoles.
They fall in the same general span of months. But they are not set in stone for the exact same dates every year. This is a common misunderstanding.
