Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Apparently Philippines, Iran and Greece, dunno what the fourth could be, but they aren’t subtrees either, just three odd vehicles in the US tree

South Vietnam, Philippines, Iran, and Greece

You spilt a country over many trees, and you kill it, besides the UK’s national identity already includes US vehicles and always has, so there should be no issue with Australia. If you want to argue identity then India has already bulldozed it, so there’s nothing to worry about.

Also, the concept of subtrees inherently clashes with national identity, therefore no nation should have any subtrees if that is what you care about

None of those are sub trees to the US. Why are you lying.

Sub trees are fine until they outnumber the TTs domestic vehicles.

before this goes on any longer this is the list of OFFICIAL sub tree’s in war thunder.
U.S.A. - NONE
USSR - NONE
Germany - None confirmed
Britain - India, South Africa
France - BeNeLux
China - Taiwan (if you want to consider it one)
Italy - Hungary
Sweden - Finland
Israel - None
Japan - Thailand

Nations that are similar in implementation to Sub Tree’s that have yet to be classed as such include
Argentina and Switzerland for Germany
Spain for Italy
Norway for Sweden
Pakistan for China

I never said they were, I said the US had exclusivity over them, you said subtree

and we should be fine then, given that the UK has 300 vehicles of its own, we could add Australia and Canada and barely make a dent.

Though objectively speaking, the nations with the fewest vehicles are the ones most in need of subtrees, like Sweden in 1/4 subtree roughly but they need to be

I’ll need you to give us a source for that.

I mean barring the fact germany is the home of swiss vehicles they literally have no reason to have because there is nothing linking said vehicles to the german tech tree?

If Spain is a subtree, then so is Slovakia, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Philippines, Oman, North Korea, Lithuania, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Ireland, Iran, Greece, Denmark, Cuba, Colombia, Brazil, Bangladesh, Syria, and New Zealand

I didn’t say they were a sub tree, I specified currently they are implemented similarly to one without being flat out stated as one.

They currently have two Swiss vehicles, the FFA P-16 and the Hunter F.58.

Switzerland has never been confirmed as a subtree for Germany

Yeah, but they are all just as close to subtrees as Spain is for Italy

cool then I’ll move it down to the other part of the list (even though we already know that its going to be Germanys sub tree)

We literally don’t

It isn’t a subtree until we get it confirmed. Right now Swiss vehicles are just in the German TT. Not a subtree.

I think their difference, like the GDR and the FRG, does not belong to the sub line

I dont think they’re a sub tree either, rather more of a dual ownership thing. But some people treat it as one hence why I pointed it out and said “if you wanna consider it one”

Every vehicle from X nation in the US can be linked back to the US. There is no exclusivetivity for them being to the US. You can’t just say “Oh well IRAN has 1 aircraft added to the game and it in the US TT so Iran is exclusively US.” Get out of her with the BS.

UK already has 2 sub trees it can expand from. Which some of them are already cutting into that 300 number of yours.
