well they can be used on the ground like the penguin. there’s also a gps guided version of ASM-2 but thats IF gaijin even adds asm-2. other wise its just JDAMS

Like, it may not be as good as the Eurofighter or Rafale, but there is definitely the possibility of it, the F-16 has a great FM with the limited missile count being the limiting factor. They have given the F-16 OCU a HMD despite it never having one so I’d expect the F-2 would get one, and the radar is amazing, should be second only to the Rafale at top tier.
The only question is how many Fox3s it can take

in theory the f-2s aesa should be stronger then the rafales 838~ T/R modules of the RBE2-AA vs 1216~ of the J/APG-1. (but that depends entirely on gajin)
for fox 3s we are looking at 4 official, 6 theoretical

The small radome of the Rafale limits the performance of the AESA radar, imo the only real issue of the Rafale.
I don’t think we’ll ever see WW1 content in WT, at most we’ll get some more interwar stuff
It’s why their absence is so weird. They would be very weak (at 10.7 where the FGR2 is in GRB) when compared to the Jaguar Gr1A or Buc S2Bs loadout. So shouldnt be a balancing issue. But would be a fun alternative weapon to just bombs in the FGR2 and create further diversity between the 2 phantoms
