Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Excuse me… i think almost every British main was complaining about them not getting them.

I am yet to find a concrete source, but Mk2 should give 15-20% increase, so <8km at best

Well, if its limited to the Mk1 then might make a good 9.3 for the line-up then

And remember that Mk1 lacked proxy, hehe

9.0 then. :P

The challies arent really that good IRL either…
They always claim they are good at “offroad” terrain, yet they are only good on dry offroad again, because they are so heavy. Thats why they arent currently used is some conflict, due to the muddy terrain.

Nah, if it was stuck with Mk1 it will be 9.7

Doesnt even need to compare it to the better IFVs like ZBD04A and dardo, its already quite questionable when you compare it to the worse half like puma, VBCI and base BMP-3.

Of course because they added them to every other single nation not adding them to the Indian tree made no sense. But remember the Indian tech tree is a sub tree to Britain.
The Stormer is unique and should function significantly better than it does.
Why is it giving a missile launch warning when its a beam riding missile?
Why do the darts do no explosive damage?
Why does the dart penetrate less than a VT-1 Flakrad missle?

There are too many bug reports in for the CR2s to claim

“its bad IRL therefore it must be bad in game”

Even basic fixes like:

  • Correctly sized ready rack
  • Add a dozer blade
  • add Trunnioin pins
  • Correctly model the ERA protection

would help so much. and even IF it was actually this bad and it was modeled 100% perfectly. then why is it 11.7/12.0 and not 11.0/11.3. Whats the point of BR if they arent going to use it balance anything

Dont quote something i didnt say @Morvran

Same goes for a lot of other vehicles for Britain and for every other nation as well.

This and the ERA would help yes.

Spoiler

You literally said that

But few are in quite as poor of a state and none other have some of the artificial nerfs we have like the reduced ready rack.

Hear hear. Tanks like challengers are not the best in the world IRL and probably one of the less desirable one in the western designs, but that is not an excuse to not fix those issues. The VT4, merkava or ariete arent great either, but calls for them to be fixed are equally important. Since they are pretty bad, just get them down to 11.3/7 after they got fixed, and further buff the ROF since ROF on manual loaded tanks are most of the time a balancing factor.

@Morvran i said this.
Not this:

The challies arent good IRL, yet they could be better in game. Like i said with the ERA and ready rack

Yep, I dont expect the CR2 to be meta. It likely never will, but its just not top tier worthy at the moment and hasnt been in years. Britain could make such a great support nation with great hulldown tanks (that could ALL be fitted with dozer blades), good set of IFV options for Top tier and a few half decent options for SPAA and then we should have the strongest CAS line-up as well with Tornado/Typhoon slinging FnF Brimstones and the AH-64E Firing FnF JAGM and FnF Brimstones or the Wildcat firing FnF Martlets. But we just… dont have that either.

Yes, maps need to be expanded to at least four times their current size. Additionally, there should be four spawn points per side. Introducing more capture points and NPC points that can be captured and filled with NPC troops, equipped with Anti-Tank and AAA systems like MANPADS, would enhance the gameplay experience (similar to Heliborne).

Most importantly, the developers need to focus on improving BR/Tier balance and reworking the game’s economics.

Why just Top Tier?
The spitfires shred through enemy planes. Not even mentioning meteors.
Also, GB 7.7 and 8.0 is very good. The same goes for 6.3 and 6.7. The crusaders are also still very good.

How do you justify the performance of the T-series tanks in the game? They are incredible, but I can’t say the same for their real-life counterparts.

Would you agree ??
