At least there are 2 trees with the starstreak HVM platform, doubling the possible amount of complaining how bad it is.

Everyone is BVR stomping the flankers at top tier, but a flanker with a competitive flight model (in close) because of TVC and a radar that would catch them up but will still have the BVR junk 77 is to much for you???

Thats not helped the Harrier much yet.

Su-30 for the soviets would be perfectly fine. For China probably, if we get PL-12 armed flankers. He meant hes giving a no to the Su-30MKI for India.

Well because Japan has better options, both in the TT and as premiums. Jeep with a starstreak would be the only manual guided SAM for Japan at its time so theyll have to play it.

Indeed, hope we get it with ASM-2 (w/ A2G capability) as well D:

For once, they could add it only to US and Sweden(Finland) and it’d be fine bc everyone else has 13.3/13.7

Maybe they are saving a pre production F-2 with early J/APG-1 for 13.7, and main production F-2 for 14.0 and they add both in one update with the Yamato

The F-14’s AWG-9 Radar was made in the 60s with the world’s first microprocessor. It was only beat out in range 40 years later by the F-22’s AN/APG-77 radar. The F-14D’s radar was made in the 1990s, and to this day hasn’t been beat out in terms of range, which is partially why it’s still highly classified.

Date of Introduction hardly matters for the capability of aircraft or its systems.

Idk, I’ve seen some impressive estimates for narrow beam APG-77 range. Let alone 77v1

77 is also a 90’s radar too though.

i agree where is my F-16I SUFA with Python-4s, AIM-120s and I-Derbys?!

I’ve only seen the 77 go out to ~400km. The 71 could go out to 740km.

Wiki says 515km but idk if it’s trustworthy…

And yeah the 77 is a 90s radar that’s mb.

Early F-2As were limited to AIM-7M and considering we got the second latest Rafale in French service, I highly doubt they would give us an F-2 without ARHs at all now.

740km??? How much power did that thing have? Could it even sustain that range?

I think for most purposes the 77 is superior though

Maybe they could add it to replace the F-16AJ

13.3 bc FM and radar probably though

It was very powerful, but it got to 740km by data linking with another APG-71 (F-14D) to digitally extend the range to the radar to its digital limit. No AWACS or other support radar source was required to do this.

Doesn’t F-22 have very advanced datalink between themselves too?

With amount of stuff sent greater than ever before due to leveraging the AESA radar?

Question could the RAH-66 Comanche eaven be added to the game ?

did it fly, shoot its guns and missiles, and have its avionics working? if so then yes for sure

if the last 2 arent true then it can come but theyll have to Yak-141 it
