British Export (like the Jaguar IS or Sea Harrier FRS51) , truly native stuff (Tejas) and genuine gap fillers (SAAF Mirage III or Cheatah). Im okay with.
But yeah, anything soviet in origin really should be avoided at all costs

Indian tree and Indias most numerous airframe shouldnt be in the Indian tech tree.
Cheetah is another good example of a unique “british” plane.
It would be a far more intersting addition than a great many aircraft i’ve seen suggested for Britain since india.
Most subtrees except like HU-RO has something unique, its just gaijin being reluctant. Thailand for example, is the sole operator of stingray light tank on a large scale. The predecessor of the patria AMV, XA-180s, also has some cool variants, along with Finnish BMP with a LAV turret etc. Most of the time they would play out quite similar to the host nation, but gaijin doesnt add them anyways.
