Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Am I the only one who hasn’t fallen for this trap lol

It isn’t necessarily better, it does have a longer range but the AIM-9X has better dogfighting characteristics as it’s lighter and has more control surfaces and TVC so it pulls much harder straight off the rail, realistically the 9X sits somewhere between the ASRAAM and IRIS-T with them all being effectively equivalent, just with different strengths

VTAS wasn’t tied with a ‘Thrust-vectoring’ missile. right…?
Sorry for the bad writing. my bad.

Aim 9x is the worst next gen western missle.

The others all perform better overall. Its that weird jack of all trades that tries tondo all but as a result does it the worst

I’m still wondering how anyone can have enough SL to expert all their crews and still have some left over to burn on gambling.

I just spent 1.6mil SL to get an expert crew on my Bo 105 premium

That’s not an F-4F, that’s one of the 10 Block 53 F-4Es’ (Note the presence of the slotted stabilizer) Germany was loaned and operated under USAF training units in the US (Due to the way US laws are thats the way it needs to be done).

That stabilator does not look slotted to me

It’s an F-4F, the German F-4Es had TISEO

This is a German F-4E

It’s perfectly fine, I mean like I said the US had every opportunity to adopt the AIM-132 like 5 years before the AIM-9X entered service, and that was with the US and Germany pulling out of the program.

If the ASRAAM is better and the US still didn’t adopt it the I think that should be on them, and other than the ASRAAM the Australian F/A-18A is identical to the US one, there is no point adding it to the US tree.

Also evident by the fact that the Australians have now ditched the ASRAAM in favour of the AIM-9X, the 9X must be doing something better otherwise that would not happen

Aussie Hornet as Event vehicle
Canadian Hornet as Squadron vehicle

Then, That might be a Three of a Kind of hornet to US :|

Have a Malaysian one instead, the aussie one belongs in the UK tree

The US already have plenty of Hornets, and if they need a foreign one then the CF-18 should do fine, or Kuwait

I don’t see why people think they either the Aussie or Canadian Hornet will come to the game at all, neither of them are particular needed, or interesting

Well, I think gaijin will never let brit have F-18
just like CL-13 Mk.4 or Meteor NF does.

Same is true of the Swiss one but that has been leaked already, Germany don’t need it any more than we do really

They are just F/a-A-18As or F/A-18A+ or with Canada a worst USMC F/A-18C

It is nothing crazy

Like the Su-30MKI is quite different to the Su-30SM

Germany has much less top tier jets then Britain, and much less options for the future seeing as Britain already has two sub trees

Out of all the trees I imagine getting a hornet, sweden is the only one that actually needs it, the Ilmaavoimat F/A-18c/D is vital considering the gripen is in a rough spot for air currently.
