I think that 9.0-10.3 is where the worst bit is, with 11.0-12.0 being relative tame compared to what other BRs have.

I think 9.0-10.3 is generally fine they just need to move a few things jet up or down but above that it’s a fundamental issue with the game.
Like I have been trying to play the F-4J(UK) I have Skyflashes and AIM-9Gs. Why can I face the Su-33 with 8x R-27ER, the J-8F with 2x PL-12, the F-4F ICE with 4x AIM-120B, the Sea Harrier FA.2 and AV-8B+ with 4x AIM-120, etc
I think russia will come in place of britain since its a russian game, but britain would either come as the 5th starting nation or the first expansion nation.

The first chinese subs arrived in the 50s, but they were ww2 designs, so they have a viable if small early sub line of soviet copypasta.

Not that interested in subs, but I would love to see S-56 in the game, since I visited it a few times as a museum.

Yup, with the exception of the ICE, I dont think any of the 13.0 ARH slingers are actually that big of a deal, There is nothing between 12.0-13.0 that cant fight them.
But in an uptier, you are screwed in them, even vs 13.3/13.7s most of the time, let alone the 14.0s

Russia had less subs in both world wars, so unless they start from the Cold War, Russia shouldn’t get subs before Britain, and they’re not going to start from the Cold War
I mean arguably Italy should also come before Russia if we’re starting in WWII, not sure about WWI though

Technically most japanese large submarines of ww2 could carry a plane they had provisions to do so the i-400s could carry more than 1

Many interwar submarines could carry aircraft too, I believe most, if not all, major navies had a submarine aircraft carrier at some point
Anyways, the clear best submarine of the time was:

Most subs had the capacity but not a dedicated hangar for carrying one, the Japanese ones were designed with it in mind for recon purposes
And i believe they had specialist submarine based recon floatplanes
