The US tested the Norwegian NASAM system and liked it so they worked with Norway to develop the NASAM high mobility, unfortunately the US had financial problems and pulled out during 2010 and left Norway to finish the program. They finished in 2015 and got the first few vehicles in 2016

wasnt that the canadian or australian one?

Great it would’ve been nice to have that, but at least we could have the SLAMRAAM-ER

In a folder with the F/A-18E/F

Only the Aussies used the E/A iirc

SLAMRAAM should technically go to both Norway and the US since it was a joint vehicle, NASAM high mobility would only go the Norway as the US pulled out years before it was completed. Regardless would be cool to see

i posted 1 f-22 pic as a half-joke about future of US SPAA and led to this

Well it could also be put into its own line with the Growling/wild weasel F16s F4s F100F, F-105F. This line will be the only ones that could carry the anti rad missiles too.

Japanese have expressed interest but havent committed, otherwise just usa and anzac

Ohhhhh now that will be interesting

I don’t remember the US having a column to spare for that

be careful you gonna need to argue then how F/A 18s arent american then
