Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

What nation uses it?

Despite the branches of BAE being different but who cares about that

personally, not against a CV90 for the UK as you guys made them after all. but idk if the polish one is the right one. surely there is another, or a prototype of some sort that couldnt really be argued against

Last time I checked Grizzly tanks (hull used for the Skink) were just Canadian built Shermans

Canada isnt america last i checked

UAE it was during the big time pantsir was going rampant and nothing equal was in view , which to be fair ended up being the case until recently

UK only had hands in the Ajax and testing with a CV chassis, outside that it was exclusively a swedish branch that made them and still does.

That is true of most big defense companies, it’s just that BAE has subsidiaries in a lot of different countries which very much helps with arms export, like we couldn’t have taken part in the F-35 program if we didn’t have a US subsidiary

like how US branch makes F-35 electronics and Bradley upgrades?

Polish CV90’s exist but going by that logic it goes to sweden as poland isnt a sub of the UK or any nation.

Idk about the US lmao, their vehicles stopped interesting me after the YF-23

What is this, gone for like a day, 2k posts? Smin can not sleep tonight scrolling through everything.
Edit half a day actually.

90% of those was australians and canadians coping didnt miss anything besides the CM disclosure

I mean, Canada is on the American continent, but yeah, it isn’t the USA.
But still, you can’t claim the US had nothing to do with the Skink if the Skink is basically just a modified Sherman with an AA turret.

It US wanting everything thing the US exported

I mean, it depends if you consider BAE systems AB a truly separate company, which Gaijin probably wouldn’t, I think it would just be BAE Systems

at least for the newer models anyways

Not that I think Britain should get them, but through the manufacturer argument there is an issue

no, the reason BAE is part of F-35 is because they bought out LM Sanders which made the ALR-94 ECM system which was the predecessor of the Barracuda on F-35.

UK was involved since the 1990’s, very early on in program. this was before BAE bought out LM sanders in 2000, they wouldve been part of it regardless

fair enough, love that jet too lol. but the shift in flight performance from YF-22 to F-22 is insane

Tbf we mainly just go by ties in which case it was entirely exclusive to sweden before being bought. Doesn’t really matter considering the UK doesn’t seem to have much interest in big troop transport IFV’s Ajax isn’t in service yet iirc. Besides there’s enough documents online showing how little Britain has in the development of the CV90. Again its a primarily domestic design. Most CV90’s are also unique tha ks to the Swedish military requirement to modify the vehicle with spall liners for the 9040’s. Most nations that have CV90’s are pretty unique.

Regardless with that logic in mind you’re already wrong since both the CV90120 and MK.IV are under the swedish flag since nobody has bought those specific models. If gaijin believed the UK should have the rights then they wouldn’t have been on sweden in the first place.

I mean, we had to teach you how to make a VTOL
