Yes a new seeker and some other components mean it’s no longer ITAR and can be offered to India (if they buy Typhoon)
They’ve already selected it as their IR missile of choice and are integrating it onto all of their current platforms from what I’ve read, definitely at least the SU-30MKI anyways

Just a shame it wont fit into the internal bays of the F-35

Well, it probably would, we just gave up trying. Does the 9X work internally, I thought it couldn’t self-ignite so needed specialized bays in the F-22 to work properly, the F-35 doesn’t have those.
