Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

AH-64E from british army it’s version 6 standard

AH-64E (Early) (version 1 or version 4) for USA tech tree before AH-64E Late (version 6.5)

But gajin might add AGM-114L on US army AH-64D before AH-64E (Early)

Not ready this year, or gajin not add AH-64E Late with JAGM-ER and AH-64Ai with SPIKE NLOS until 2027 or 2028

And? Why does that mean the US should get a monolopy on helicopter additions?

And other nations have loads of variants of other vehicles that could be added, but they aren’t being added for various reasons.
Just because there is stuff left to be added doesn’t mean they are gonna add it anytime soon, or at all.

i never said it should? just that it deserves to continue to have helis added in the next updates. most of the US helis will probably end up in other trees also anyways

iirc they ordered AGM-114R as well as APKWS.

and again. They add very very few helis per update. Sometimes only 1. What is being asked for is that the minor nations that have tiny trees compared to the US get prioritised first. US has 11 TT, 4 premium and 1 SQV. Japan has 4 TT and 1 premium. Britain has 5 TT, 2 premium and 1 SQV. The US already has about double the number of helis a lot of other nations have. At the rate they add helis, they would need to not add a single heli to the US or USSR tree for the next few years for everyone else to catch up

I’m just looking forward to get railed in the F-18 by all these current 13.7s and 14.0s

and those issues could be solved with adding US helicopters since a lot of nations use them like Japan.

i dont see the issue with US and USSR having more helis ingame when both had more types of helis irl

Speaking of APKWS, I wonder who’s all gonna purchase the IR Homing version of the rockets

Thanks for pointing out your viewpoint.

“license-built is C&P unless the US builds it”

9/10 the nation-building the vehicle themselves will make modifications unique to it, yes the vehicle will still belong to the same Family, and if you want to argue vehicle family makes whos vehicle it is, better be ready to give up a bunch of vehicles whose family is domestic/original to other nations.

look into AV-8B. you will see it was a joint project, so neither company is really license building it

and yeah you have a point about some changes with italian hueys, however what is even different between a CF-18 and F-18? they are almost the exact same iirc

probably the US

Someone forgetting our Fireflys under C&P rules those should belong to the US ?

No AGM-114L

So inferior AH-64E from morocco, polish, ROCA, British Army and US Army

Same JGSDF AH-64D ? 🤔

Lack AH-1Q, AH-1J, UH-1Y, AH-6G, AH-6J and AH-1T

Italy can also get Romanian helicopters, which could be moved into separate line with Hungarian Hinds (as well as freeing space for Italian in-between machines, like AB204B, A109AT, A129A and AB-412).

Spoiler

It’s just to add some layers to the tree. Maybe a premium? Idk.

I don’t know either 😞

Sweden has 2 options Dannish Fennec and the Norwegian or Swedish UH-60 given 4 hellfires. Of course people have cried and argued against it so nobody bothers making the post even if its more realistic than the AHS. (Would be easily one of the worst 10.3-10.7 helicopters but i digress)

i conceded that italian hueys are different but my point is that if helis are added to other trees theres a solid chance that the same general type of heli would come to the US and the other way around.

also, there was an M4A3 firefly that could come to US, theres a suggestion for it somewhere
