Yeah that makes sense. Although I would definitely expect ARMs to become important in the future.

We can also see CAMM/Land Cepter/Sky Sabre/Grifo/Mała Narew

UK, potentially also Italy & DE via PL with some minor fudging, the Italian and Polish versions lack a sight (the 2nd shorter mast on the UK one)

Japan can get the Type 11

It doesn’t deserve 14.0 even with R73M, unless it gets R-77-1 otherwise the mech and R77 are just not competitive.

That decompressed nothing cause all it is doing is letting 13.0s suffer more, no new AMRAAMs and 14.0 is decompression, AMRAAM c-5 will just let 13.0s have 0 chance. AMRAAM C should be 14.7 stuf. Strong 13.7s go 14.0, maybe really insane ones like J11B or F15E and the ESA radar planes go 14.3, AMRAAM C, real PL12, R77-1 goes 14.7.

Last discussion Magazine posted shows no interest in ARMs anytime soon.

Could have had supersonic and variable wing Gnats too!

in short:

  1. more advanced sacloss anti-aircraft - yes
  2. ground-based amraam and similar - yes, but option 1 is preferable
  3. ground-based iris-t and similar - definitely no, this is a terrible decision.

more details:

  1. if gaijin adds good sacloss AA (Chinese FC1000, 2000, G6 XVM South Africa and others) it’s good
  2. if gaijin adds ground spamraam, it may be a solution for some countries that can’t be given a good satloss AA gun, but I would prefer sacloss, because they may have insufficient range of CAS aircraft with IR missiles, fire and forget, they won’t be able to kill helicopters normally, but they will greatly interfere with various aircraft that are trying to storm close to the map on conditional LGBU
  3. If gaijin adds AA guns with 5th generation IR missiles (like Osa with Irist or Spider with Python 5) it COMPLETELY kills any opportunity to fly at least near the map, not to mention flying over it, it won’t help against helicopters in any way, but it won’t be enough against CAS with long-range IR missiles. So I would prefer option 1 and 2, but not make the mistake of adding AA with Irist or Python5. Tansam and Strela10m2 clearly demonstrate what these kinds of AA will be like (completely useless against aircraft with long-range weapons, but have a 99% chance of killing an aircraft if it is close to the map, without making any effort)

This is my opinion regarding the current capabilities of the CAS to attack and defend against AA.

Or the Sea Lightning :D

And variable wing geometry Lightnings and Phantoms!

And EE Lightnings too, for naval use, I’d love to fly that in game

From what I have seen for a portion of GRB players in the forum they would welcome that.

So long as it meant that CAS got unnerfed as well. Id have no issue with it from a CAS perspective either

Enough that I think split Combined arms and ground only game modes should be added

CAS will always have some limitations with LOD.

Missiles would also be able to reach enemy airfields.

That’s why I been saying that the distance between the airfield and battlefield need to be increased

I mean, we need definitely need a middleground, but as it stands top tier GRB literally is just ARB with extra steps

Personally ARB needs to remove markers. But i know what you mean.
