Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

We have since clarified what the vote is for in much further detail.

We would encourage everyone to read our article in detail and understand the vote is simply just for a test to even take place. This is not a vote on it being implemented.

its a rigged vote realy, nothing more sadly

to be honest, it will do less damage, but in a more unstable way, it’s like a ring cut of spalls, not a ball, meaning different shoot angle will influence a lot, it’s result will be unknow without test.

Personally I dont think testing alone should be decided by a vote. Implementation of said features yes but voting for whether or not should we even consider testing new mechanics is pointless and may result in killing possible game improvements at the very early stage.

Yes, of course, Gaijin brought more clarity . But the problems that CIS community don’t belive to it and they continue to fail the voting by absolutely “NO”

The Lynx aka KF41 has grenade launchers

I meant it has a lot of weapons and smoke grenade launchers, so the 7.62mm doesnt fit in the modifications menu
Same as QN506 (30mm, QN502, QN201 and 7.62mm)
Btw I am not saying that PUMA S1 is not coming, just this exact “leaked image” is fake. Like my su-24 leak 🤓

It is too late already, though.

The vote was 70-30% for 21 hours while it was genuine. People who read and understood the dev blog wanted it with an overwhelming majority…

Then, in a time window of just 2 hours, the vote was suddenly flipped from 70-30 to the current 48-52; all because the voting was flooded with non-genuine “no” votes coming from people who didn’t read or think about it; only voted “no” because they were told to do so under false premises.

Even you guys realised something had gone wrong and made posts on all social media attempting to clarify to correct the situation… but it is too late already. The vote has already been altered with large amounts of non-genuine votes.

I just hope all of this is taken into account when a decission is made… otherwise, it will be unfair to all of the community who actually read and thought about the dev blog before voting.

No idea!

There are ways in which this could be faked; by using images already ingame (taking Spikes from Namer, using the S1 from Pantsir…), the ELA would remain consistent and therefore pass as real.

Fake or not, this vehicle is in the true leak list, so it will likely come anyway, hahah.

I don’t care about this one personally since I don’t play ground forces. But if you do similar tests for aircraft don’t run a vote about having a test. Just run the test and people can vote based on that. All you’ve done here is give people a chance to torpedo the change before anyone has even seen it in action.

Last time GJN did that people went ballistic about the result of that one poll…

Sometimes multiple polls is for the better, even if that makes it so that change is far more difficult. That’s just a part of the semi-democratic process.

We don’t have to delude ourselves, WT doesn’t have a water board/water authority like democracy of discussion, polling and implementation, even if they do seem to be going into that direction for some features and changes of the game.

Any query or poll will undoubetly be influenced by people that want to sell their own opinion. The best populist/politician (in this case the people with the highest public influence in WT are content creators) will thus win any poll with popular vote.

not much player use the forum or watch official news. And forum users, to be honest, isn’t quite representative, that’s why people will angry about that.

Exactly,

First we saw the ~70-30% vote distribution, which mostly only included people that are on-top of game news and changes, especially the Forum users.

Then there came the delay of the CC’s making their content to influence and shine light on the poll.
Their opinions, mostly of people that never read the forum, are the most numerous. The forum’s population is laughably small for the size of this game and its audience.

Thus, it can be said, like you also said, that the ‘general’ public definitely has a different opinion from the average forum user.

Except that “opinion” is not even an actual opinion, educated and based on the actual contents of the vote, in the case of many, many voters.

They weren’t informed of the vote to make their own decission based on the information available;

Instead, certain YouTubers just hit them with “YOU MUST VOTE NO BECAUSE THIS WILL RUIN THE GAME” and they immediately and unquestionably obeyed.

This is not genuine voting.

US/RU/GER players, when they are offered the possibility of testing something that will nerf their power, which they have been used to for years, and which might require them to lean skill like other nations that don’t have all these APHE:

Welcome to modern day democracy

as I can see, most players outside the forum, they know about, though not fully read the article, but they understand the most part, and they don’t like it.

and interestingly, aphe isn’t all better than solid ap. It won’t creat much spall when penning armor like solid ap. It’s an ancient code which may exist since the first Tank was introduced to the game.
meaning aphe almost only do damage by exploding, and ap only penning armor

Perhaps it would be better to implement this mechanism only in the mode of full simulation

So @Smin1080p_WT Gaijin allowed player to choose APHE Cheating damage or make realistic as other projectile.

If player win they cheating damage, I’ll get the rights to have same ABSOLUTELY CHEATING damage for all other projectiles.

It’s not fair that other shells are nerfed but APHE will be even stronger.
