Mate, we are getting closer and closer to the day that Gaijin is gonna run out of new modern or highly popular vehicles to add.
A vehicle maybe not being extremely popular, played by many or just not necessarily being needed aren’t reasons to just flat out not add older or less popular vehicles and none of these factors have stopped Gaijin before.
While yes i diubt its either the schwerer waffenträger or PuBo, 2 systems so close to the S1 dont make sense to me, they would either need to be foldered or be a premium/squadron
It’s my understanding that it’s more like the Dutch having a slight upperhand in the agreement.
I could be wrong but thats what a German here told me that was better read in on it than me.
Iirc the higher up leadership is a mix of both dutch and germans.
And while the Germany is the overall leader of the dutch forces integrated into the bundeswehr, the dutch government still holds “nuh uh” power if they don’t like where the bundeswehr is sending our soldiers.
I think the dutch government also still has control over material procurement for the dutch army.
Chinese, well, at least some friends of mine, says the radar on JH-7 can fire ARH missiles like pl12. But none of them could give decisive evidence like JH-7 carrying any ARH stuff when they are up in air.
Also reminds me of the J10/A. There are pictures showing that J10A can carry up to 6 PL12 with 2 PL8B, but usually J10A carrires fuel tanks when on mission.
problem is that China in the modern era (~ranks 7 to 8) has a lot of aircraft that would warrant splitting the PRC line in two like this:
light fighters (J-7 → FC-1 → J-10)
heavy fighters (J-8 → J-11 → J-15 → J-16)
But not enough (as of now) to actually make a fifth line throughout the tree. Introduction of more J-7 and earlier J-8 variants might help in rank 6 and 7, but it would still be a problem ranks 1-5.
