Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Hence the JF-17 gaijin could so oh look a new shiny premium and days after look guys a better “free” aircraft too.

Plus lately the been adding rank 8 premiums so I won’t understand why it won’t be the same here again.

I mean, the Tornado IDS WTD61 is rank 7 too for some reason

I mean was that added before this trend of rank 8 premiums tho ?
and before the roadmap

Dunno, but they have raised the ranks of premiums before, if it was added as a rank 7 for ‘no top tier premiums’ reasons

Didn’t Gszabi already say that the JF17 would be a squadron vehicle?

JH-7 basic no PL-8 and lack domestic chinese precision-guided munition & laser designator targeting pod ?

Why JH-7 place to rank 8 ? not rank 7 ?

I’m not sure J-10 basic it’s prototype or J-10S (J-10 two-seat)

Yea hence I put “free” aircraft.

Leak says J-10 and J-10A, which both refer to the first production variant of the plane

I wonder maybe Prototype or PLAAF early service ? 🤔

Full domestic chinese active radar homing medium-range Air-to-Air Missile capability

I don’t know anything about the J-10s prototypes or development history, but from a quick search the J-10A definitely is capable of carrying and launching PL-12s.

If the J-10 without a letter designation was an early service variant or a prototype it seems that it would be limited to PL-8s and/or PL-9s

and PL-11

It will probably get PL-11’s and PL-8’s, ‘replacing’ the MLU in 13.0~ the fighter role. I really hope they then give the MLU it’s missing equipment.

France is again disappointing this time, with only a few boats… Damn it… The Benelux did not come, the VBCI II did not come, the AMX10 CTA40 did not come, and again, the EBRC does not know how far into the future、。。。。。。。。。

J-10 (Block 1 to 3) (Firebird A) – the first higher-production modification of the J-10 (Firebird A) aircraft. This model is reserved for PLAAF. The first prototype of the J-10 (Firebird A) aircraft took off from the runway for the first time on March 23, 1998. This model became part of the production program of the Chengdu plant in 2003. All examples of the J-10 (Firebird A) were later refined to the J-10A (Firebird A) standard.

J-10A (Block 4 to 8) (Firebird A) – a slightly improved modification of the J-10 (Firebird A) aircraft with the installation of new blade antennas having greater height and depth on the dorsal fuselage, directly between the cockpit canopy and the SOP, and on the belly of the fuselage, directly in front of the nose landing gear well, oval WL-9 radio compass cover on the back of the fuselage, directly behind the cockpit canopy, improved defense system and new multi-function displays (MFDs) inside the cockpit. Similar MFDs are also found in the cockpit of later prototypes of the FC-1 (JF-17) export combat aircraft. The last serial J-10A (Firebird A) left the gates of the Chengdu plant in 2014. After that, the production program of this company switched to the J-10B (Firebird B) model.

Smin,
Are you excited for next patch (well ofcourse you are, but are there any things you always liked to see being added, which are finally being added this patch)?

I couldn’t find anything about the J-10 being armed with PL-11s, but I don’t see why it shouldn’t be able to.

I’ll just trust what others say when it comes to the armament.

I doubt we will get all of them at once

also anyone figure out what the british vic that was hidden was? I am still holding out hope it is anything but the indian OSA-AKM

J10 my beloved
