Technically you could give the Current F4F ICE the IRIS-T missile since it could and did carry it.
The Swiss Hornet and I believe the Finnish one too, were never equipped with really any advanced air to ground weaponry since their airforces simply dont require the capability.
I think, if this thing gets added, only rhe US version will have good A2G weaponry
since neither Finnland nor Swizerland were(are) allies to he USA they Specifically removed all A2G capabillities for these 2 nations due to US weapons Export laws
neither can carry Bombs nor rockets and A2G missiles, neither guided nor Unguided
IRIS-T on the German phantom however could come because the exact phantom we have in game was the one that tested them
I still wouldnt want them because that would just mean it goes to an unreasonable BR
Thats even better argumentation on why a potential Finnish/Swiss hornet wouldnt impact groundforces much. Except that it would be an excellent Interceptor there
but why? Did they think switzerland would start a war? Finnland is understandable because it is near russia and they getting attacked could mean F-18s and a2g weapons in the hands of russians
I dont get that either. some say the ICE is alright because right now it is a missle meta, but that would mean the F-18 is espeically good with 10 amraams.
tbf things like the F4F getting 9Js, SA and Hungarian Gripens getting AGM65Gs, the SA gripen with again AIM120s and 9Ms, there are plenty of recent events that show gaijin could just give it weapons they never had because another country had those weapons
why? the Hornet C isnt much faster, the Swiss hornets dont have HMD becasue they didnt recive the MLU the fins got, it uses the same Missiles and Radar as the F4F-ICE and its manouverability will not be better enough to add much over the phantom, especially because it still doesnt have HMD
itll playstyle wise be a slightly more agile but therefore slower F4F-ICE with a few more AMRAAMs
