Absolutely nothing is saying they aren’t adding an F-18 to the US as well. They might straight up skip the A/B variant completely.

They want to keep the hype going for as long as possible. Its free advertising, in a sense. Gaijin wouldn’t be to happy if that hype suddenly vanished.

I doubt italy will get another F-16 and mig29. Their air tree right now is pretty good at top tier

Romania only ever had 1 MiG-29S that they got from Moldova after the collapse of the USSR.
Not sure that would make it worth to add especially as Italy already has a hungarien MiG-29.
