Franco-british , and of pure french origin , UK arrived later when they realised it would fit they needs and did some modification .

Breguet Br. 121 vs Dassault ECAT vs Potez P.92 vs Nord-Aviation Nord 3600 vs Sud Aviation SA-X-125
=} Breguet Br. 121 won , later renamed Jaguar in 65 , and SEPECAT is created a year later . =} SEPECAT Jaguar

Dassault ECAT = Avion d’École de Combat et d’Appui Tactique =} Combat Training and Tactical Support Aircraft

.
SEPECAT = Société d’Etude et de Production de l’ECAT =} ECAT Study and Production Company

, and is logicly also named Société Européenne de Production de l’Avion d’École de Combat et d’Appui Tactique

("if you had ment “we sold the platform” , pls be more precise , as it sound like you said “we made that plane (alone)”)

would have still been better then a russian jet

I think they more meant the fact the Indian Jaguars were sold to them by the british, or at least thats what I would assume

The COFFIN system from Ace Combat is inspired by the BAE P.125, the look-through HMS on the F-35 also takes some inspiration from it though I can’t say if it was wholly inspired by BAE.

But this aircraft was starting to enter the development stage. Its still almost entirely classified and we know virtually nothing about it except visual characteristics.

honestly the Nimrod would be a pretty funny meme plane

well in that case then yes , but i understand his sentence has “we made that plane (alone)” , not “we sold that platform” in my opinion

the BAE P.125 was weird from what little we know

only real image I can find of it

there is also the P1154 which I think actually did have a prototype built, and at least according to Wikipedia it could carry 4 red tops

Yeah they’re all universally a little goofy but mostly stealthy, but still virtually no information

Prototype started construction, similar to the superswift but was cancelled.

(Though the superswift was literally 2 weeks before its first flight, Supermarine should have just said nah we’re going to finish what we started).

Yeah High Key I wouldn’t buy any of those, maybe not a Bison but something ZA I’d buy. Cheetah D I would buy.

I might be a bit of an outlier but I honestly prefer competitive vehicles to ones picked just for the sake of being British I’d rather be having fun than flying the Union Jack for the sake of it. I do agree that where possible though vehicles added should be domestic variants from the sub-trees, but one could argue that the SU-30MKI fits into that category just as much as the Cheetah’s do.

yeah the british did have a lot of wacky ideas during the 60s to 80s but due to a pretty bad economy pretty much none of the projects went anywhere

I need it so bad :(

Well, it and the A-4M, but that’s a different story…

Maybe but premiums are about making Gaijin money.
No one would buy the Tornado, even to use it grind it’s a miserable experience compared with even Phantoms.
Harrier GR5 would be fine at the Su-25, A-10 premium bracket

What i wonder is if Gaijin gonna make use of modern advanced tech, like passive scooting for modern ground vehicle (specially reco ones), EW suits for modern planes etc…

In some recent training in India, the Rafale EW suit (SPECTRA) fried the Su-30 radar, i wonder if we could have things like that ingame or if it’s gonna be never made and “gameplay” gonna be the exact same as right now.

Perhaps Rafale is not as stealth as F-35, but if it can make fry other radars… :D

But i wonder if Gaijin gonna be able to work on all thoses tech or if planes gonna be really basic as they are now.

I’m somewhat reluctant to believe that
Reason is that none of plane names have “-” in them (like Su-24 or J-10A)

I mean maybe? I enjoyed the Tornado F3 a lot back when it first came out even with all the bugs, they could probably sell a premium one with skyflashes and 9Ms as a intermediary between the F3 and Late

If anything they would add it as 1:1 copy of early F.3

I doubt it, then again we will probably see some form of EW for sead planes, honestly would be really nice to see planes get jamming pods

or sell the F3 Late (Late) with AIM-120 C5s and ASRAAMs

eh rather have that thing in the tech tree
