Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

The whole reason it’s being added is to supplement that role until the Eurofighter rolls in. But by all means, I sure as hell won’t complain if they decide to drop the EF instead. Brimstone missiles would love to pay you a personal visit :)

And you are lucky to even get it. Gaijin could just as easily leave you with the F-4F for the next 6-9 months until we get the EFT. They are not obligated to give you a sub tree.

I’m sure the british would love their brimstones, but seeing as it ignores smoke it’s likely just as much of a no no as the AGM-114L for Gaijin.

Not sure what unbalanced about Su-9, Su-11 maybe though I’ve never played it, so idk. MiG-15 aren’t that easy to play from my experience, weapon is hard to aim and it maneuvers like a cow, I enjoy CL-13 mk.4 way more, maybe in good hands MiG is better, but for average player imo it’s not.
T-2 was above every other top tier upon the introduction, I remember how “fun” it was to play against it in G.91YS.

So, read through this and it’s gotten a bit confusing and muddled. Figure I may as well just ask folks to see if someone can give a more concise update. I basically just play ground, and I’m just curious if theirs a fairly solid idea of what the new ground vehicles are going to be, or what some of them are going to be.

Thanks for whatever information folks can provide. Also heres to hoping they bring back the M728 soon, I’m sure it’ll be back and I know HESH is meh, but I still look forward to getting to pick it up and mess around with the darn thing.

They weren’t obligated to give the British the SAAF Gripen, yet they did. They weren’t obligated to give the Italians the Hungarian subtree and yet they did. They weren’t obligated to give the French the Benelux subtree, and yet they did. Why should Germany’s treatment be any different?

All this does is follow Gaijin’s precedents.

doovbleg tomorrow??

@Smin1080p_WT probably gonna start a wild fire but are there any plans to expand upon helicopters for Japan and Sweden?

Definitely could see the Indonesian attack helicopters added if Japan is going to be a “regional tree”:

  • Mi-35P
  • AH-64E

Not to mention Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore:

  • AH-64D
  • MD530G
  • AH-1F

Just the ones I know off the top of my head. Other nations I’m sure have stuff too. That’s all I remember.

Yeah, japan with the potential subtrees being added could help a lot. Def looking forward to expanding on my lineups. Especially around 7.x-9.x

Japan definitely deserves to get ASEAN a lot more than Germany deserves to get Switzerland

Yet I don’t remember these nations complaining this much about their sub tree vehicles potentially being “gimped”.

It’s fine that Germany is getting a sub tree. But just like most other major nation mains, they get given something and immediately they try to take more and more.

Eh, outside of my personal bias to have 2 very specific swiss ground we really o ly need like two aircraft from the swiss.

Now hand over my 140mm boi and my panzer 68

Has this been actually confirmed yet or just speculation since the vehicle’s names fit within the characters? Not sure I missed it or not. Gszabi over here thinking like “I just made the amount of characters up” lol.

What do you mean more and more? The same precedents that work fine for other countries suddenly are taboo and forbidden when it comes to Germany? Seems unfair, doesn’t it?

I think its more the very horrendous asks that people ask for because they are so upset with the current conditions of their nation. Like asking for Austria pretty reasonable but germany doesnt have any holes they would really fill out for air outside of the swiss. Asking for the Danish makes no sense but im not gaijin i dont decide their final plan.

People have been asking for Denmark? Wtf. Thought it was a given they’d go to Sweden.

Same level of speculation, neither a Swiss subtree for Germany, nor a SEA/ASEAN/Thai subtree for Japan has been confirmed

LANDJUT was arguably the third NATO frontier in Germany during the cold war, and Denmark did plan to send in forces to assist Germany in case of a Soviet invasion. Either way, Denmark would provide vehicles to both Sweden and Germany with RDAF F-16s and upgraded J35s.

What is JH-17? You mean Jh-7 or JF-17?

My bad, meant the JH-7. Had the JF17 on the mind since it’s leak season.
