Providing you forget the Sea Harrier FA2 and Tornado F3 AoP exist and that if we are talking about IRIS-T on the Gripen then ASRAAM equipped Hawks, Harriers, Jaguars and Tornados also exist.
It is not needed. It is simply Gaijin adding a soviet aircraft to our TT to make it more popular. It is totally and completely unneeded

Once again it’s a dumb move. The UK has no ties to it and it makes no sense.
If Gaijin needed a SAAF Gripen replacement that wasn’t domestic the other three Dominions are right there and use Western tech.
and are still more or less allies compared to India which is anything but an ally to the UK.
Not really, the R27ER user defeats one missile and you’re screwed and forced to ground hug.

Also only 2 ARHs will leave Mig-29SMT with 2 R27ER and 2 R-77s. Or Su-27s (later) with 4x R27ER and 2x R-77

I’ve seen some of the proposed trees and I don’t see how canada fits that description, in particularly for ground.
