I mean, to be entirely fair, they did honestly have a not awful idea of putting all the guns in the front (see Dunkerque and Richelieu classes), hence giving you the tactical advantage of presenting as little a target as possible to an enemy while getting the majority of guns on a target

I always get muddled, when you say outrigger, you which ones do you mean by numbers (if 1 and 9 are the outermost and 5 is the centreline?)

It seems like a good idea on paper for making a pocket battleship, but the loading system must have been horrible in every way.

The lists are usually fairly accurate with whats on them, but rarely is everything on them

The issue was that they turned out to be limited to the rate of fire of the lower turrets and it was less of a bother just to only use the lower turrets.
Still this didnt stop us from doing it again with the same result.
